disappointed - I had to move today's fitting to tomorrow

I was so excited.  Since the dress is being made for me at Sabella Couture, it will be a chance to get photos, and decide what the neckline and the straps of the dress should look like.   I am eager to start looking for jewelry!  I can't believe how much there is to do before I get married in .... 5 weeks! 

Oh well.  I am very excited to be able to go tomorrow.

    Oh, that's a disappointment, but at least you get to go tomorrow :)  Just 5 weeks?  Eeek!  :)

    Do you happen to know how long the appointments are?  Also, what did she tell you to wear under your dress?  I bought a spanx-like thing - shorts that are very high waisted, but that is it.  And my shoes haven't come in!  I will wear shoes that are about the same height, but I feel like a cad for not having them.

    Which dress did you get?  Where are you getting married?  I would love to hear about your plans!

    I am sooo excited, but a bit nervous too.  The neckline and straps are going to be different from the sample and I am worried about how they will look.

    My first fitting was about an hour long. I'm not sure how long the second one will be since we're actually going to do some work on the back of my dress and perhaps the hem (if it's still too long with my shoes, which only just came today in the mail! Phew!)  I would definitely wear the shapewear to your fitting.  I think you should be okay wearing shoes that are the same height. I don't think Maria would mind. :o)

    I got the Enzoani Dakota. I'm having Maria put on cap sleeves and a lace back on it, so it's going to look a lot different than the sample, but I'm not too worried about it since I've only heard amazing things about her work.

    I'm getting married at the Mandarin Oriental on 6/5. I have some more details stuff in my woefully ignored bio. lol
