How you met your FI:

This is how nerdy I am. We were both members of the same professional group student group as undergrads and met when my group hosted a dinner for the other student groups. I was checking people in and chatted with him when he and his group arrived. He proceeded to ask me where the bathroom was more than once but never used it. When it came time for dinner the seat my group had saved for me was taken by someone else but my now FI had an open seat next to him. Pretty much went from there.

Anything else you want to share:

We have the date (7/13/13) and location (CA) but are still planning the rest. Look forward to chatting with everyone!

I work at a hospital in their Patient Accounts department. It's nothing special, but it pays the bills. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology, but I'm obviously not using it right now. I'm (only) 24, so I'm still trying to work out exactly what I want to do with my life.

I read a lot. And now wedding planning has become by hobby as well.

My Fiance and I have a cat named Manti. We named her after the famous Pittsburgh sandwich shop: Primanti Brothers. We are both originally from Pittsburgh, though we live in NJ. She's very hyper and nosy, but we love her. She'll be 2 years old August 18.

My favorite food is probably ice cream. I swear, I cannot live without it. I'm always craving a twist cone with chocolate sprinkles.

My fiance and I met by being Maid of Honor and Best Man in his younger brother's wedding. His brother married one of my really close friends, so I knew his family before I really even knew him (since he was out in NJ, and all his/my family is in Pittsburgh). And yes, those 2 people are now our MOH and BM.

I'm definitely looking forward to diving more into the boards. Our wedding is July 13, 2013 at an outdoor venue. We've gotten our venue, photographer, chaplain, and my dress. We've spent so many weekends travelling back and forth between NJ and Pittsburgh planning. I'm hoping that after we take care of booking our DJ things will calm down a bit.

How you met your FI: Online. Plenty of Fish to be exact... He was living in a town 2 hours away & flew out (he's a private pilot) to meet me. Our first date was horrible & awkward... I had my best friend along who has just broken up with a boyfriend at 3am the night before! The following week I had to be near his town for business, so we tried again. Magic.

Anything else you want to share?: We commuted every single weekend, some mid week days, holidays & vacation times for 14 months... he moved here last Dec. & proposed on Valentines day after asking my son's for their blessing. I am so lucky!

How you met your FI: Jason and I originally met in the 5th grade, but it wasn't until after high school when we originally went out. However...it wasn't until last summer when we actually decided that we wanted to be together. It only took 29 years from first meeting each other!

Anything else you want to share?: Ummm...Jason and I are both 40. This isn't the first marriage for either of us, but we are both sure this will be the last. It's been a long road to each other, but we are definitely in it for keeps.

Occupation/Job/What-you-do-all-day: I'm a Career Advisor at a college, I just finished grad school four months ago and I'm now catching back up to normal day-to-day life.

Pets (Pics preferred!): One puppy, he's a six month old rescue from PR. We've been told he is mini schnauzer, terrier and chihuahua-- but he looks a bit puggish.

How you met your FI: We met online through a dating website, I was working close to home in Boston the summer prior to my senior year of college. We dated for two months before I returned to college in Florida, spent nine months long distance. We got engaged three days before my college graduation, moved in together three months later and after a year of grad school (and a lot of flirting with eloping) we are finally planning our wedding!

Anything else you want to share?: I know it's right around the corner but considering I've had a year of pinning my wedding, I've pretty much planned half the wedding in the last week. Budget has been done, colors are picked, bridesmaids dresses are picked, wedding bands are bought, invitations are picked, schedule for the day picked, groomsmen outfits picked, flower arrangments sorted out, guest list/mail merge finalized, appointment for my dress in three days. I feel like the only thing I don't have is the stressful pieces, like the location since the one place I'd had my heart set on for over a year no longer does weddings!
OH! And we are doing a semi-DIY, we are renting a large home on the water and hosting all activities on site.

How you met your FI:
We met about 3 years ago, surprising enough at a local bar when I lived and he grew up but had moved away. I was out with some friends and out of no where he started talking to me. It took him over 6 weeks of driving 25 mins every weekend back to his hometown just to see if I was out with friends again, if I wasn't out he would get my friends to call me and get me to come out so he could see me. Eventually I gave in to a date and that's led us to where we are today.

Our wedding is planned for July 6, 2013 in Iowa. We have choosen orange and white as the colors.

How you met your FI: Well, we met online while I had started dating someone else, so I had to cancel our first date. When we broke up six months later, I contacted my fiance to reschedule. Shockingly, he took me up on it! He's perfect for me. He owns a freakin' toy store. Yeah, the adorableness makes me want to vomit, too.
