Wedding Woes

My salon has integrated.  When I first started going it was just two stylists who basically did the hair of my aged women in town.  Obviously we've aged and are more mom/professional types now.  The one stylist left last year and a very young "hip" one came in.  She sees the more tattoo/pierced pink haired type.

A couple of months ago a black stylist came in and has a whole different type or clients.   his is the first I've been since September.  Please to recall what an itty-bitty town I live in.  To see the diversity in one little shop was hysterical.  I saw my first relaxer treatment.

I also had a group of women check out my ass and tell me it must be a girl.

It almost makes me want to get a cut more than 4 times a year.

You can tell if you're having a boy or girl by the size of your...ass?

    Never heard that one.

YAY for fun salon experiences!  :)

This just reminded me to call for an appointment.  I haven't had my hair cut since Sept and have been meaning to call for two weeks.  I just did it, so thank you for this.

Taw- I've been putting it off for weeks to get in as close to birth as possible.  Then I kept forgetting and finally had to write a huge note.  Thankfully I can get in to her quick.

Ha. Yes, I'm sure it is different.

I went to a diverse salon, and noticed that the white clients only came in for cut and color a few times a year. The white stylist started seeing black clients too because we come more often, and she made more money being a diverse stylist.

I had my hair cut in January for the first time in forever.  I rebooked right then and there for 2 weeks before I'm due because I knew that I would forget to otherwise.

I can usually get in quick, too.  I just never do it.

I'm getting it cut this week and then at the end of May, I'll get it cut and colored and that will probably be it until after the baby is here.  I never make my hair a priority.  Hell, the only reason I'm doing it in May is because my brother is getting married in June and I don't want to look terrible in the pics.
