Spending Cash for Maui Honeymoon

For those of you who have vacationed to Maui I was just wondering about how much you spent on meals and activities. We're trying to plan out how much more we will need to set aside for our trip (we will be there for a week). Thanks!

Are you in a condo or a hotel? That'll make a difference. We tend to do more free activities... driving, hiking, snorkeling. I find most activities cost about 100$ p/p - some more, some less. Same with food - you can spend 30$ for dinner & drinks at the Aloha Plate for two or you can spend 300$ at Roy's or Merriman's.

i'd just save as much money for this as you can - hawaii is killer expensive (but so worth it!).

I would say $100 a day for food, minimum. We spent close to $300 a day but we ate almost exclusively at our hotel. All of our excursions were around $200 for both of us (luau, sunset sail and road to Hana). Remember that excursions with dinner (like a luau) can count as dinner for that day.

And if you are drinkers, 2 drinks at the hotel pool or bar with tip was $30 every time.
