Yeah Joy, it's awesome. Free wine or beer, and they do a pretty good job. It's only $25 for a regular pedicure too, so it's not like it's super over priced. One of my friends moved up to Carlisle, about a year ago, and she said it's one of the things she misses about living here.

One of the IT guys just bought me breakfast, and I came in to a card with Outback and Starbucks gift cards. H is working out of town tonight, so I'm going to take my mom out for a celebratory sushi dinner.

Congrats on the last day, Adamar! I hope it goes smoothly for you.

I bought my friend's little girl a shirt when I was on Cape last weekend and came in to the office to an email picture with her wearing it. So cute!

The weather is so disgusting. My sister is in town and is all about walking around Georgetown, which sounds like torture in the rain. At least I get out of work at 1 today, so I'm going to take her and her bf to some museums.

Morning all! Yesterday was crazy so here's hoping for just a tad less cray cray today. I am so happy it is friday and can't wait for the weekend. Dinner plans with friends tomorrow and then a bridal shower on sunday so it should be a good one.

Yay for Adamar's last day! I hope you plan to do absolutely nothing productive today :).

Bay-that party tonight sounds like a trainwreck. Does the bride's FMIL despise her or something? I cannot think of any other reason why she would think to invite baby mama to the party. Hope your ear and vertigo get better by the party, I think you will need to have your wits about you for this!

I have no idea. TBH, I'm not a huge fan of the groom, and I'm not really that surprised that his mom is trashy and vindictive. The way she put it, the more people they invited, the more money that they'd get. There are TONS of people going that aren't invited to the wedding (tacky, tacky, tacky). The bride asked her FI to say something to his mom, do something, anything. He just ignored her. The party is still happening. My friends are throwing the bride a separate shower to make up for the awfulness that is happening tonight, but it's next weeked, I'll be at WF and I can't go. I'd love to skip tonight but at the same time, she is so upset about it, I'd hate for her to be there by herself with no support. We've been trying to come up with ways to sneak her out. I think after a few drinks FMIL won't even know. Sadly, I don't even think her FI would notice too.

I really do think this wedding is a mistake, if you can't tell.

Welcome back, banned people. Yesterday was crazy for sure. Possibly one of the craziest days I remember on TK. Definitely more dramatic than the day that Frankie got banned.

All of you rainy people, please keep your rain. For once, we don't need rain and I welcome the sunshine.

And pedis + free wine is the norm around here. I was actually thinking about going for a pedi, sans the wine today. My current pedi is a little sad.

Might I ask what a zombie toenail is?

I recently discovered that there are two nail salons right by my house that serve cocktails while you get your nails done. I went to the first one pretty religiously but I think the second may now have my business; they gave me three upside down pineapple cocktails when I went in for a mani/pedi. And they gave me snacks! Plus the prices were better so I think I'm sold.

Morning. My eating routine has been thrown way off lately and due to that, my cramps last night made me throw up and kept me awake all night long. I am a walking zombie and still have cramps and am sitting at work with my heating pad on my lap hoping that helps. This is the first time I've had cramps all year. I hate cramps

Cali, one of my big toenails got a fungus and most of the nail fell off. It was pretty gnarly. It's almost all the way grown back, but it's not quite there yet and I'm not ready for anyone to touch it yet.
