Fun/Eco Friendly Centerpiece Idea! Pip...

So just thought I'd throw this out there..

My cousin/bridesmaid and I were searching online for fun crafts to get us geared up for my wedding. She found a cool project where you cut down wine bottles and make them into candle holders! Here's the step by step website page..

And here's what we got...

We're going to put river rocks or something in the bottoms that aren't level and I definitely like them next to each other at varying heights.

If anything, it's a good excuse to open up a bottle of vino Tongue out

I love it! I am totally going to do this for my house, instead of paying, like, $15 per candle holder from Pottery Barn.

How cool!  I collect the corks from all my wine bottles and display them.  Saving some of the more important bottles like this would be so cool.

Yay! I'm glad someone else will get use out of this. One tip from someone who's tried it already, definitely have a steady/stable way to scour the glass in 1 round circle. We tried to do it by hand and most didn't come out perfect.. other than that, they're pretty easy!

    Enjoy!

Very cool! I have seen another girl who was doing this and using the top half too to put a skinny candle in the mouth of the wine bottle. This would fit perfectly with a rustic theme too!
