That video explains why FI came to love Baxter. He does this for us every time we come in the door. He starts by crying/jumping like that dog, and then freaks out and runs wild laps that turn into figure 8s all over the apartment.
Yay! As soon as we move somewhere that will actually allow us to get a dog I know H will be out the next day at the breeders. He wants a dog to take hunting so badly. I am the one worried about losing the dog, or it getting shot accidentally. I am glad this story has a happy ending, it makes me smile.
One of our local radio stations really gets into the lost dog thing - and then everyone around here is North Dakota-Minnesota-nice - if you lose your dog, you call the radio station, they put out the word, and someone finds the dog, calls the station, and everyone reunites and is happy. It happens a lot.
Kind of lame from a news perspective, lol (I say that as a reporter) but anyone who has ever had a pet can appreciate hearing about stuff like this.

That's awesome! H has been doing alot of hunting south of the cities, and the farthest north he goes is around St. Cloud. Too bad your locals don't reach down here. I would love to help reunite owners with pets. I freak out when 2 yr DS puts our ridiculously dumb cat out on the back porch. He just stands there looking stupid so I know he won't run but it still worries me. I do love me my kittehs.
