Zombie-Themed Wedding...Ideas??? Need your creative BRAAAAAIIIINNNNNSSS

Hello ladies,

My fabulous brother-in-law and his soon-to-be bride are opting for a nontraditional wedding featuring zombies.

As explained to me, it will not involve dressing up, blood or guys, but they wanted to inorporate things like "brain shaped meatloaf." They're both big dorks and it's going to be awesome.

Any ideas?? I'm calling it "zombie-chic." I want it to be somewhat classy, but pulling in a lot of fun stuff.;)

Here are a few minor things I've thought of thus far
zombie cake
caracature artist to "zombie-fy" guests
a sweets table with brain cupcakes, zombie pops, etc

Please share anything and everything!

One of our moderators on the Sept. 2011 board had a zombie cake that was awesome. If I remember right, it looked like a traditional cake from one side and had zombies crawling up the back.

LOVE the caricature idea!!!!

Maybe some kind of green lighting?

Table names after zombie movies? Not sure if they're doing the garter and bouquet toss but cockscomb/ celosias sort of resembles a brain.

Other than that, they could incorporate colors (green, or blue for a Fulci zombie look, red), the food (http://cascade.mit.edu/halloween/meathead.html, http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Finger-Cookies-232939), invitations, and music.

I love the zombie movie table names idea, too! If they don't want to use blood, they could go more with the dry and dusty zombies (Tombs of the Blind Dead, for example).

My fiance and I are horror nerds, particularly zombies, but his family would be unimpressed, so we're trying to come up with little touches. So I love their taste in wedding theme!

Zombie Wedding cake

The programs could be a pamphlet on Zombie/Wedding survival, cheeky-like.

Tables could have rules from Zombieland random on them (with their own made up rules added in to make sure theres enough).

A zombie-themed desser buffet could also go with it.

If they want games at the reception (I'm assuming its laid back), they could have Zombie movie trivia or a quiz to see who would last longest in the upcoming zombie apocalypse (with some sort of prize for a winner).

My FI is very into zombies, I'm seriously considering secretly getting him a zombie cake. It will completeyl clash with our wedding, but he will absolutely love it.
