In search of photographer w/good prices...

Haha I know what you're thinking, "Good luck!" Haha but seriously, every good photographer is in the upward rage of 3k and up, and that is just NOT in the budget. We're looking to spend no more than 2500 on pictures, including their time at the wedding and the pictures themselves. If you know of a photographer (a good one) who is reasonably priced, please please let me know!

That was our budget as well!  We went with Amanda Donaho.  Check her out!  she has a style that looks like it would be in a high fashion magazine, but can also do the traditional stuff too- very elegant and totally not in a cheesy way. :)

We're using Stacey Downey.  She starts at 2K and you get a cd with all the hi-res images with all of her packages.  Plus, her print prices are incredibly affordable.  Here's a link to her website.

Check out Studio 3 Photography.  We really liked their personality and style.  This was our hardest vendor to chose considering how many photographers there are.  Tell them Jenn sent you :)

We met with Bob White (White Photography), Masterworks, A Thousand Words, Ron Schuller, and Robert Hogan of No. 9 Images.  All had great packages for under $2500 and were very talented.  We went with Robert Hogan.  We paid $1500 for a CD with all 1300 shots  in color, B&W, and sephia; and we are getting numerous prints of our choice and a custom album.   He is very flexible and willing to alter any packages to suite your tastes.

    Good luck!

Look into Innovotory Photography. They have more of a photojournalistic approach, so keep that in mind. They were 1550 when I booked - comes with two photogs (hubby/wife), a coffee table book, and they do their own little photobooth at your reception. Good luck!!

Adrienne Beth is doing my wedding in a few weeks and she is amazing, her prices are probably one of the cheapest you will find.

I second Studio 3 Photography. We love our e-pics and had so much fun with them. We have photgraphy, videography, informal photobooth, pictures and a coffee table book, for right around 2000. They are amazing! Their website is
    studio3photographygallery.com.
If they are not available check out Daniel Micheal or White Lotus. We met with A TON of photographers before meeting people that we really clicked with. Have fun planning everything!

Dianne Bomar at The New Studio in Loveland did our photos for about $2200, it included the album and full coverage of the ceremony and reception, and she had an assistant with her as well.  She kept everything on track and the photos are beautiful!

We used Lucky Clover! We loved Rob and Katie, through our engagement pictures, and at our wedding last night! Of course, neither of us have been in charge of a wedding before, so they gave us some guidance when we needed it without ever being pushy, helped us keep control of our wedding party for pictures, always listened to what we wanted...really can't say enough good things. Haven't seen the wedding pictures yet, but our engagement pictures were fabulous!
They are opening a second studio, Locust Street. No web site yet, but soon. Lucky Clover is remaining open and will remain more budget friendly. Seriously, check them out! Here is their web site, they are also on face book under lucky clover productions.
