Bridal Salons

Ok guys I need your help. I scheduled and appt. for my BFF to have a dress fitting on the 24th at Weddings by Debbie for 10am. They said its a 2hr appt. Now where are some other salons I can take her. Im trying to have her go to 3 appts that day.

No Alfred Angelo and Davids Bridal we have been there already. Brick house may be too far. (we are in SW houston, Richmond and Katy) I will be willing to go Downtown. Ok well scratch that just give me some names and we can set up appts on later dates if they are too far.

Thanks a bunch ladies!

For my wedding dress shopping, we did a little "Say Yes to the Dress" day. We started with brunch & mimosa's at my mom's house in Katy, and then we went to Weddings by Debbie at 10 a.m. for our first dress stop. Found a few I liked, but not quite the one I "loved." They do have lots of options and its very pretty on the inside, like what you would picture a wedding salon to look like.

Then, we went to Parvani Vida for a 12:30 appt on Highway 6. They have a lot to pick from, too. I found one I was totally in love with and was ready to say "yes," but my entourage suggested that I think about it over lunch. So, at lunch, I decided that I should just go to my next appointment and see what they had, so we headed on to Ventura's off of 610 for my appt at 3:15.

I walked into Ventura's and it looks like a cheap warehouse, and I was like there is no way I'm getting my dress here! But don't let looks fool you! My sales assistant was already pulling lots of dresses so I went to try them on, and ended up finding THE dress and falling in love with it! It was so perfect! My sales assistant was so sweet and so patient and Ventura's has truly been a great experience! And the best part, the dress that I bought was under half of the price of the first dress that I fell in love with and very well under my budget! Whenever you find "the dress" you get to ring a little bell. I even got to take pictures with Mrs. Ventura, too! I ordered my dress in June and was told it would be in in October, but I got a pleasant call in August saying that my dress was already in!

Overall, I would go to the first 2 places if you are wanting the "bridal" experience or something a little fancier, but I would strongly suggest that you give Ventura's a chance, too! My FSIL & Best Man's wife both bought their dresses there as well. Awesome value, awesome customer service! They are great! Good luck & happy shopping! :)

I really enjoyed my appointment at Winnie Couture, and I found a dress that could possibly be the one.  It's a more high-end salon, though, so if you're not planning on spending at least 2K for a dress, don't go.  I didn't buy anything because I'm not sure yet if I want to stretch my budget that much.

In addition to the above, you can also try Bella Deur Bridal on Westheimer and Highway 6.

You may want to visit Misora Bridal as well. It's nearby, and smaller than Weddings by Debbie, so you could fit it into your schedule.
