So, I keep hearing these horror stories about certain cleaners and alterers in the Chicago area.
I need my dress altered down 2 sizes and and cleaned before my July wedding. I just spoke with a rep at Davis Imperial and she said it costs a minimum of $435 for just the cleaning and pressing of a gown (and that's only for polyester!)
That is just completely beyond my budget. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cleaner/alterer anywhere in the greater Chicago area?
