So I have been contemplating the idea of using Wine Crates instead of baskets to hold our programs, in place of a shoe basket, and also in place of bathroom baskets. What do you think?

Our wedding and reception are not at a winery, just vineyard and wine inspired (one of our favorite hobbies.)

Would this be overkill or appropriate?

I have searched ebay and can find some pretty good deals. I purchased one yesterday for 5.50 with free shipping. I am also going to go talk to the liquor store we frequent (they have the best wine selection in town) to see if they could save me a few.
