I am trying to find a small, low key place to have a sunset wedding on the beach. So far I have found the keys to be the most interesting, Islamorada to be exact, but I am open to just about any ideas. I live in Indiana so it is difficult to go and visit these places. If anyone has had a destination wedding in the keys or has ideas of places to have a small ceremony and reception it would be much appreciated. Have a great day!
Re: Destination Wedding in the Keys
If you are interested in a beach house wedding, here are some vacation rental sites you may want to look into:

As far as resorts, there are so many to choose from. The Islander Resort and Cheeca Lodge are large family friendly resorts in Islamorada. Casa Morada is a lovely resort for an intimate ceremony, but I don't think they allow children under 16 to actually stay there. The Caribbean Resort and The Moorings are incredible.
Here is a blog that compares a few Islamorada venues:

We honeymooned in Key West and had a blast, but I know very little about planning a wedding there.
