In a way it is. There were a few weeks there where I know that DH was "thinking" about making a baby while we were intimate. There was a period of about 3 weeks that we were more active than usual. I do have to say that it's kind of weird to be able to pinpoint when you conceived, though.

I think it would probably be a very intimate thing that could be very sexy. However, knowing FI he would probably start to overthink it and be ugh about it.

After the first few months, if it's not working, then honestly, no. Then it has the potential to turn into "omg why aren't I getting pregnant" "Ok, we need to have sex in the next 24 hours" "If we do it this way it will work better" and lots of stress.

That being said, if you don't go crazy it can be.

I can answer this two ways.

There's a website where you can put in your date of birth and it will give you your probable date of conception. I was early, so I put in my (my mom's) original due date. And discovered I was conceived during their '2nd honeymoon" trip to Williamsburg. TMI for me. My parents were amused.

If I even bring up the subject, J breaks out into a cold sweat. Turns pasty and all. So, yeah, no.....

It should be, according to my now pregnant friend. She told me (and it makes sense) that if you try too hard, and just have sex to have sex, then it won't work as well as if you have a really strong orgasm. Apparently that helps relax all the openings and then draws in the sperm. Or that's what she said. Evidently she and her husband thoroughly enjoyed themselves for 2 months before they conceived. Its a good thing she's like a sister to me or I would have called TMI halfway through that conversation.
