I have a case of jet lag.  Anyone up yet?

Random:  I find it creepy that Taylor Swift is dating an 18-year-old.  (I would find it creepy if it was a guy also).   Add in his mom just committed suicide I feel it's IDK Just weird?  Isn't he still in high school?   

What's weird is if he was 22 and she was 26  I would not feel the same.  You grow up a lot from 18 to 22.

I know I make no sense.






What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Maybe he's a college freshman.  :P

    Jet lag, party of two! i was up from 3am to 5. Faaabulous. I was going to go for a run this morning, but I just couldn't do it. Fighting the sleepiness right now!

    I would say have a good day, but a packed office at 7am doesn't sound like it's starting out that way.

    I'm off to work in a few hours.  I hope to make it a short day.  I slept like crap last night.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Good Morning.  No jet lag for me, just sleepy.  I wish it were jet lag, that would mean I was somewhere other than here.  I'll be spending my day in the room of h*ll today tagging charts and binders for an audit.  SHOOT ME>

    Mica - no he is still in high school.  I think he turned 18 not too long ago (June?).   I think that is why I find it creepy.

    They suck so hard Snippy for real.  And this tagging crap isn't even my job but our IRB coordinator moved to Florida and is working remotely now and her assistant hasn't been to work in 2 weeks.  So here I am, stuck tagging effin charts.  Stupidest day ever.

    Well in her defense she had a hysterectomy, so the time off is warranted.  However, she's been putting this surgery off for 2 years, so the timing was just bad.  She thought she'd have the surgery on a Friday and be back to work that Monday.  Just a wee bit ambitious.  I'm glad she's not rushing recovery, I really like her, I just hate that I'm stuck picking up the slack.

    Good morning!

    Another tired Eener here.  I'm not feeling today at all.  Although I'm going to a friend's house tonight, so that should be fun.  And Knit Night was a blast last night too.  I am trying to squeeze every bit of fun out of the next few days.  Can't believe that summer vacation is over (for me) on Tuesday.  Blech.

    Morning ladies!  Add me to the tired list.  I think all this job crap is finally catching up to me.  It also doesn't help that things are crazy at work since the students come back this weekend.  I went to bed at 9:30 last night.  Thankfully I slept until my alarm went off, but I woke up with the worst cramps, making for a delightful run this morning.  If I crawled back into bed now I don't know that I'd actually get up in time to get ready to go to work.

    My parents have been in TN since Sunday so it's been nice to do what I want, when I want!

    Got the second load of laundry in the washer.  I need to get gas in my car and pay my Visa at the bank.  Debating on getting a Dummies book for the Microsoft Office University 2010.

    I'm the family genealogist, so I can't wait for my Family Tree Maker program to arrive!

    H is looking at booking a luxury cruise for our next vacation.  I think once he picks one, that I'm going to strongly suggest that knotties book it too.  Wouldn't a knottie luxury Mediterranean cruise be amazing?

    Cfas I'm in love with your pictures.  I was in Munich in 2006, but it was very overcast when we were there, so my pictures from Neuschwanstein aren't as good as yours.

    He found one that's about 1800 per person on his first search (and includes all food and drink INCLUDING alcohol and all gratuities), so I figure that by the time we'd really need to book, he'll have a sale or special or something too!

    Morning everyone. It took me way too long to get to work today- stupid metro.  And FI took the rest of the pasta salad I planned to have for lunch, so now I'm stuck going out for food. 

    The Swift-Kennedy romance is only bizarre to me because she bought that house right near the Kennedy compound so soon after starting the relationship.  Beyond the fact that its a bit creepy, Hyannisport is about the last place I'd buy a house if I was a celebrity- good luck getting any privacy.

    Yeah- I also heard on the news this morning that Ethel was the one who set them up.  She apparently heard Taylor "loved the Kennedy story" and thought she and Conor would be perfect for each other.

    The one H was looking at was 11 or 12 days, I think.  My co-worker and I immediately got on that site and started planning our 79 day round the world cruise for next summer.

    Gorgeous pictures Cfas! When we were walking that monster path to Neuschwastein back down, it started POURING down rain. That was fun. I've also been to Linderhoff. I absolutely adore that stained glass window. European churches are so gorgeous.

    I love genealogy, too. Gone back to the 900s on some lines on my mom's side. 

    Feeling really, REALLY icky today. Like my stomach is just BOILING. Not sure if I ate something or it's sinus/allergy related. Eww, I know.
