    We're in the process of moving so we'll probably spend the day packing, maybe with a bottle of wine ;-)

    That still sounds like fun!  I know I am probably in the minority, but I love to pack stuff.  Weird, right?

    We are going on a double date with my parents :) - yea I know - they had the idea to go to RENT and then out to dinner and got this couples deal so Joe and I decided to join them! Should be fun!

    My FI bought me bus tickets to go see him in Ohio for the weekend! I'm excited, cuz I haven't seen him in over a month! (He couldn't come here cuz he's got a ton of performances coming up, and I don't have a piano for him on which to practice). We'll be spending some quality time together, he's supposedly going to make me dinner (kinda scary, not gonna lie), and then we are going to a couple of concerts on Sunday.

    Sounds like both of you ladies are in for a great time!!! The bf is taking me to dinner at Hazelwood in Excelsior and then the rest is a "surprise" I guess.  Has any one been to the Hazelwood?  Did you like it?

    DH is taking me to Ruth Chris's Steakhouse.  We've celebrated some big moments there (paying off DH's student loans, engagement, my graduation from law school), so it's a special place for us.  I'm so excited!

    we usually don't pay much attention to valentines day, but this year is special because its exactly 6 months until our wedding!  We plan to go out to eat somewhere to celebrate...not sure yet where

    We're going to a nearby restaurant with FH's aunt & uncle for a four course dinner. I saw the menu today - gnocci w/ truffle cream, petite tenderloin w/ horseradish potato croquettes, etc. Yum!

    Yeah, I've been to Hazelwood (I grew up in the Minnetonka/Excelsior area). I remember it being really good--plus one of my favorite caribous is in that strip mall :)

    We're going to a paint-your-own-pottery place in Chicago (we live there) and bringing wine and dessert. We did this once before on Valentine's Day in Colorado and had a blast. Plus, we add two new pieces to our home (mixing bowls, platter, etc!)

    I live like 3 minutes from Hazelwood. They have a really good Schezuan grean bean appetizer and there rolls that come with dinner are amazing. But there entrees are pretty overpriced and only decent quality in my opinion. I'm sure you will have a great time though, it's a pretty place!
