  • Cathy - Thanks :) FI and I didn't realize it until after church when we were talking about the dates of stuff coming up. He asked what date today was to reference and when I said the 22nd, I was like wait a second... lol
  • I'm sitting here watching the game trying to figure out why my siggy is so small!

  • Yay congrats Britt!!!! I never know the actual date unless I'm at work!

  • FI is at a buddy's house watching the game and I decided to skip out on that to come home from work and clean for my cleaning lady tomorrow hahaha... I bought a Groupon a while ago for three 3 hr cleaning sessions for $99!  My house is a diaster and we've both been so freaking busy, so I had to cash in on that!  But, I've yet to do my part of picking up for her so that she can clean .... procrastinating!!!!

I actually came on here to click on that youtube vid of GNR that you posted the other day, Britt!!  I loved that!

  • Thanks.....I was trying to do it on photobucket! I feel better, now I can go to bed lol. We are supposed to get freezing rain tonight which means I have to leave earlier than 6:00 am to get to work.

  • Emily - I am in love with VSQ lol Our whole wedding website is GNR songs by VSQ playing in the background :) What can I say, GNR is my favourite band of ALL time!!!!

Jenn - Mine is set at 350, I try to usually match mine up with my ticker, I think it always makes my siggy look more 'unified' if that makes sense lol

I am feeling really rough right now.. ever since the surgery I had done on my lower ab area I find every now and then I get periods of time where I am in quite a bit of pain. Dr said something to do with the scar tissue and the way I move or something, I dunno, but on the couch really sore right now...

I need to give my cat a bath, she stinks like litter box (she's longhaired so she picks up the scent easier than my shorthaired cat, who I rarely ever have to bathe unless she gets into something lol) but I don't want to take the energy to go actually bath her tonight lol
  • Just finished watching Shameless and about to put away laundry. Worked on my planning bio today and it is way more full than it was. And lookie- I did the sig challenge! And I'm no longer a newb, which is strangely exciting.

  • I visited my BM this weekend who just had her baby. She is sooo cute and I love the name; Lila. My mom also cooked clam chowder for mine & my FI's January bdays. It was so not healthy UndecidedEspecially combined with cake. It was good to see all of my family and everyone was talking about how excited they were for the wedding !!! But some still have not gotten their passports which worries me. I also feel bad b/c I had no clue how expensive they were. (I got mine when I was 16 and I think my parents paid for it).

  • Good evening!  I am just watching My Fair Wedding and just lounging around.  FI is at a football party and has been there since noon. I didn't realize it was going to take all day so I'm bummed that I didn't even get to see him today.

I also am looking at ordering my junior bridesmaid's convertable dress off of etsy either tonight or tomorrow.

Tomorrow I start school which I am dreading!  I am so tired and stressed from these past few weeks of hell with my dog and have been stressing about financials for her, the wedding and just living!  Ugh!  Too much to think about!

  • I am so happy to be done with the school thing when I was done uni, and can't imagine going back now!
I don't even want to go back to work tomorrow, and that doesn't involve assignments and tests hahaha!

Anyone have any suggestions to relieve lower abdominal pain (similar to mentsral cramping, but different reason)? I have a heating pad already, which is a godsend!

    TIA!
  • Midol + heating pad + hot bath

  • Hmm I don't have midol. Will midol still work if its not for that reason? I had a surgery done on my ovary a year ago and still get cramping occasionally from it. I did have an infection from the surgery and there's quite a bit of scar tissue so I get told sometimes that is why.... I know that yoga is supposed to help strech it out, my first yoga class is tomorrow night with a friend
  • The My Fair Wedding that was on tonight had convertable bridesmaid dresses! So cool!  I want mine now lol!

  • I believe midol has caffeine in it and it similar to a exedrin, I think it would help! It can be used as a pain reliever.

I'm stuck watching the game!  >.<  I'm not big into sports, but I know it's the last game before the superbowl so I gave up the tv all day.

  • I know Midol works good for me with cramping. Yay on the new yoga class ! I hope you like it =)

My FI does not like sports for some weird awesome reason. We will watch the super bowl but that is about it. Pretty much just to go to the parties and each the food/drink the beer. Although this year I am going to try REALLy hard to skip the food.

  • My vote is for some type of pain reliever too.  I have heard that exercise can be good for cramps.I hope your yoga class helps.

  • I never dated anyone who was into sports, not even the big events, so this was kinda new to me.  Now I've just gotten used to it.  He only gets really neurotic about it around playoffs, so it doesnt bother me too much.

  • I use midol for pretty much any kind of pain. I think the caffeine helps.

K, maybe I can talk FI into going to the 24 hr pharmacy for Midol hahaha

BTW Shyleen I LOVE your wedding location :) Although I might be partial, my family is Scottish lol
  • Midol is awesome. Or pamprin if need be. Most menstrual pain relievers have caffeine in them.

I like your new ticker Britt, btw.

  • haha, thanks!  I can't wait!!  It's too perfect for us.  I'm actually not scottish, but they had the least strict residency requirements of all the locations I looked at.

  • Brittany - Thanks! I saw it and had to change to this one, it totally fits the whole vibe of my wedding and everything I love :) lol
  • Oh a favorite pain reliever of mine is excedrin migraine.  I use that for everything!!

  • lol Believe it or not I never took a pain killer until I was 21... hahaha Well with the exception of while at the hospital, I know they had stuff in my IV when I had my knee surgery...
I grew up using natural remedies like teas and stuff :P
  • Hly crap Britt....how old were you when you had your knee surgery?  Didn't you say the other day that you had a replacement?

  • I was the same way.  The only pills my mom gave me were these funny white pills you put under your tongue and dissolved.  Now that I'm an adult I think they were just sugar pills, but she claimed they were some crazy homeopathic thing.  Now my tolerance is terrrrrrible, and I try to stay away from anything too crazy.  But if it hurts take something!  lol
    Photobucket
  • Yup lol the first replacement I was 14, but obviously I grew out of that so they couldn't just leave it so I have had a couple surgeries since to keep everything up and going lol

I destroyed my knee in a martial arts sparring tournament lol
