Things to get from India...

Hey ladies....

I'm having some things shipped from India - here is my list thus far:

- Kaleeray
- Lakme eye liner
- Metal churiyan for the sangeet favours
- Lots of bindis

Anything else you can suggest...(either for me, my family my bridesmaids or guests)

    I dont know if you need these but I had some of these on my list
     - Small purses to go with my morning ceremony and then reception dress
     - Red tying thread during mayan (the haldi ceremony)
     - I got my favors from India 
     - I got my mehndi decor (pillow covers and things to hang)
     - I got jewelery for bridesmaids
     - My chura (and you got the kaleeray)
     - Lots of clothes ( I got my main ceremony and reception dress here but got some other outfits from india)
    - Gold Jewelry
    - Fake engagement ring ( I got one made in gold from India for traveling purposes)
    - Groomsmen sherwanis and bridesmaids sarees (i got these also in India)
    - Payal

    Since you only have a month left I'm assuming you have mostly everything you need.
    You'll want outfits mostly.
    If you need any extra jewerly it's better to buy it over there.. especially Gold even with it's high price.
    Do you have bridesmaid and groomsmen outfits?
    Favors, invites, Thank you cards, jewerly, shoes.. etc.?

    Ya BP outfits are done for the most part (Huge biggie still left: I might have to add bridesmaid outfits if my attempts to get it done in Toronto don't work out)

    Are you carrying flowers in the morning?  If so how will you hold the purse.

    I'm carrying a bouquet as I enter the venue and walk towards the mandap....I don't know how I'd carry a purse....

    What are you keeping in your purse?

    The purses my sis got are small cute ones they are blingy with stones I love it, I like shiny things! :), I will give it to her in the earlier part of the ceremony to hold, till the phere then I will keep it with me, I am putting in lipstick and some powder and some tissues for the aftermath lol..must have tissues..
    And yea I will be carrying a bouquet in the morning too!!

    Thanks jnsaini --- tissues, lipstick and powder....I might have to get a small purse for the morning (when I bought my lengha they gave me one)

    I'm also planning on walking into the reception with my flowers....i just don't want there to be a bouquet and a purse in my hand... :S I think I may give it to my BM or MOH to hold until I get there...
