lauraandpeterforever's attempt to get back to the "right foot" seems not to be working. Earlier this evening, I posted a question on this Etiquette board about tipping for a free manicure, and she responded with something along the lines of "I don't see how you function in real life if you find it necessary to ask this question of a bunch of random strangers on the Internet."
Some Knotties may have thought my question was stupid, but people ask on TK about what color underwear to wear, whether or not to serve shrimp at their reception, and whether to invite their third cousin thrice removed. I may think what someone is asking about is trivial or obvious or just plain weird, but, if so, I simply don't respond. I don't make a snotty remark.
Her reply to my posting has disappeared. I thought that perhaps lauraandpeter had thought better of it and later deleted it, but no: it seems TK ate it.

I don't think thats back handed. If you want people who will tell you all your ideas are great and perfect go to weddingwire.
OP, I witnessed both of your little temper tantrums, and the fact that you still sit around smugly blaming everyone else for what went down is staggering. If you ask about something, a million people tell you that you're wrong ... and then coming back later with an extra side of snotty brat with "Oh, you THINK you people are so smart, but really you're not, and here's why", and everybody STILL thinks you're wrong (And a brat) maybe it's not everybody else. Maybe, just maybe, it's you.
You didn't come back and say "I was wrong, let's try again", you didn't attempt to apologize for your horrible behavior. You just breezed back in here "Hey, let's be friends! But I'm not apologizing for a damn thing I did, because you all are STILL wrong. And mean. But I'm willing to overlook that if you all just talk wedding with me". And for some reason, you're SHOCKED that everybody wasn't all "OMG, OP, you're so amazing! Thank you for still wanting to talk to us! Let's have a sleep over and watch My Little Pony, and I can French braid your beautiful hair that I am totally jealous of!"
You have 2 options if you wish to continue posting here without people just reporting the crap out of you and drudging up what a brat you are. 1) actually apologize for EVERYTHING you did, or 2) just make a new account and act like you've never been here before.
If you can't do either of those (Or at least comprehend why these are your only options), then sorry-not-sorry, but this isn't going to work. WeddingBee is always accepting teenage brats with entitlement issues though, feel free to take your attitude there.
*I felt sorry for my husband before I met him. Take a number.*

Like I said before, I really don't care if you hate me or not. Most all of you have continued to be rude so it just goes to show what kind of level of maturity is on this board. I've tried to start new threads without threat yet you guys continue to attack. Bunch of hiyenas in here. You all say that it's OK for you to be blunt yet when I'm blunt it's wrong and I should apologize. Get over yourselves. I'll continue to post if I want and comment as I see fit. If you don't like it then by all means don't read it. I'll hope you have the maturity to do so. Otherwise, feel free to get your panties in a twist.

Hmmm...I like how this is a "we got off on the wrong foot"/apology post...yet there is still arguing and fighting...honestly, boards are nothing more than a bunch of strangers posting their thoughts. There's no way that everyone in the world is going to react to you the way you want them to (this post and the following responses are a prime example of this...) and words on a screen can really be skewed in terms of tone so OP, don't sweat it and I would stop talking in this conversation. Leave the TK forums for a little bit, don't concern yourself with 'cyber drama' (these people don't know you at all....even when we feel like we know each other...) and then come back and use these forums to get cool tips and ideas.
