In honor of Mother's Day.....

This was on my wedding month board, and I thought it was great so I brought it over. I realize as we go through planning weddings, that our impression of our Moms can change just a teeny tiny bit, LOL.

This month is "mom month". Whether you are a mom, want to be a mom, have a mom or have someone close who is like a mom, this is the month we honour you and them!

In honour of May.. answer the following:

    Cute post Sue!
Best part of having an awesome Mom: My mom is my best friend... I love being able to laugh at our stupid jokes, go shopping for hours & be involved in all of the same interests. I know that I can tell her anything without being judged or embarrassed & that she would do anything for me. It's hard having her so far away, but we always send each other fun surprises which is awesome too!

Best part about being a Mom: n/a

What I look forward to when I become a Mom:
Sharing the same bond that my mom & I have - being able to give advice and guide my child. My house was always the house where everyone could hang out at - As weird as it sounds, I hope that our house is going to be the same!

Best part of having an awesome Mom: My mom is the strongest and smartest woman I know. She also is so supportive of the decisions I choose to make about my life. If I am wrong about something, she is the first one to say "now you aren't being fair darling, take a break, and then come back to your decision once you have calmed down darling". LOL She has to constantly remind me of that, and her patience never wears thin with me. I love her dearly!

Best part about being a Mom: Falling in love for the first time, is when I had my son. To know that I am the one responsible for this handsome and smart little boy that I have and it just warms my heart. Having my son matured me beyond what I ever imagined! I became even more unselfish, humbled and caring. He really softened my heart and was my strength for everything tough that was going on in my life at that time. Honestly - my son saved my life.
