It's my 2nd anniversary and I'm really excited to get to spend the whole day with my H today :)  What are you all up to?

I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     I am sitting at my desk at work trying to will myself off TK so I can focus on other things, since really, showing up at 7:30 at work is only useful if you are actually going to do the work you have to do...sigh, I hate Mondays. And I hate teaching grade 8 in June.

    Congrats on the 2 year anniversary...:)

    Yeah, it really isn't the best time of the year...the kids are done, we are done...I call myself a prison warden for the next month. It is especially bad since the 8s 'graduate' this year and go to high school in the fall...so the are esp. 'done'...they know they are all passing, they know their grades don't really count for much, they are just ready for the holidays. And it doesn't help when it is 30 degrees and clear blue skies EVERYDAY.  All they want is out and my job is to contain them. 

    What are you doing all day with H?

    I'm so glad you're up! Happy anniversary, happy anniversary, happy anniversary, haaaaaappppppyyyy anniversary! What are you guys going to do?


    Ben and I just woke up. Matt is sleeping in. In a little while, we are going to run to Target to pick up a hammock stand for my dad and then we are heading to his house to spend the day in the pool with my sister and baby Eli.

    We have no plans.  We took care of those yesterday.  There's an NCIS marathon on today, so we'll probably watch a good deal of that.

    We did our Riesling and food pairing yesterday.  That was fun.  I also learned quite a bit.

    Me too.  H was pretending to be all upset last night because USA advertised it was an all day marathon but it didn't start until 6 this morning.  He said it should have started at midnight.

    Also, I read him your Happy Anniversary and he immediately broke into song.  I told him you'd be proud.

    That's why I love you. It was a song! I hope you sang it with the right tune. :) And he's right. Technically, it should have started at midnight. Someone should send an email about that.


    Speaking of emails. Ben's new thing is to ask for something and ask me to email it to him. Like "hey mom, take a picture of me doing this and email it to me". It makes me laugh everytime. Also, if he wants to look at pictures of something, he'll say "hey mom, go to poisonoussnakes.com so that I can look at snakes". It's cute.

    I had trouble sleeping lastnight, I think it might be the non drowsy allergy pill I took at around 9pm becuase I was having serious sneeze attacks but I felt stoned for a good 3-4 hours just tossing around in bed. Then when I fell asleep I had an awesome dream that jeff winger and I were gonna do it, and then a creepy one where we were scientists and went on a school that was also aboat and everyone was "dead" but still standing around frozen. I walked past one and they tapped me on my shoulder but they were still unmoving and it was creepy. I would like a sleep do-over.

    Eww that second dream sounds creepy.  My allergies have been going crazy and all I have right now is non-drowsy stuff, which I already know gives me dreams like that.  I need to go get some Benedryl.  These cottonwood trees are making it look like it's snowing out there.

    The job is AWESOME, i love it. I keep getting more responsibilities because contrary to popular (old bosses) belief, Im quite bright and pick up on things quickly. All the guys I work with have pulled me aside to tell me how pleased they are with my progress and what a great job im doing. None of them have ANY critisism. I would like to get it in writing to save forever.

    Are you kidding me? I don't even get fucking overtime pay. I was here Saturday as well. The other woman in my dept. actually asked if I was coming in yesterday. I looked at her like she had baby snakes crawling out of her ears.

    My kids are in school today for a snow make up day, or I would be REALLY pissed about being here.
