I have kinda been lurking but am pretty new here. I have been afraid to introduce myself because I am afraid I will spend all my time on TK... but I think I am ready for that commitment now! You snarky brides in particular crack me up, it will be nice to meet you all!

Puppy: Sophie. She was a stray and is mow my midget fur baby.

here she is proud of herself for successfully throwing her toys all over the living room

FI and met 6 years ago when I was a cake decorator and he walked in my store and thought I was pretty!

He works for a tech company (typical Bay Area) and I am just graduating from nursing school and working at a doggy daycare in the mean time.

Password..... open sesame?

I like all pie, but especially Jack Daniels Chocolate Pecan Pie! Give me 1 min and I will post the recipe

Ok, here is the pie recipe. I got it from my neighbor who lived in Georgia

Jack Daniels Chocolate Pecan Pie

1 frozen pie crust (deep dish if available)

4 eggs, slightly beaten

1 Tbsp. Melted butter

1 c. dark corn syrup

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 c. sugar

¼ c. Jack Daniels whiskey

½ c. semisweet chocolate chips

2 – 3 c. pecan halves

Poke holes in bottom of crust with fork. Combine eggs, butter, corn syrup, vanilla, sugar and Jack Daniels in a bowl. Sprinkle chocolate chips on bottom of crust, and then top with pecans. Pour filling over the top and bake at 325 for 45 – 50 minutes (center should be fairly firm when poked). Cool completely before cutting.
