Hair and Make-up

I feel like I read mixed reviews about hair & make-up vendors...does anyone have a recommendation of someone they LOVED?  Also, do any vendors actually stay at the reception for on-site touch-ups?  Clearly it would be more money, but I'm fine with that!  Thanks in advance, everyone!

    Jessica at Just Face It is awesome and very nice.  I think she will stay on site too. Check out the pictures.  I think you will be impressed!!

    Jessica is very talented with both hair and makeup.......she listens to what YOU want.  Very easy to work with, professional, timely, and always promptly returns calls. YOu won't be disappointed with Jessica!!!

    For hair I used Trish Popovich who is the owner of Style Squared, a salon in New Orleans.  She came to my hotel the day of the wedding and did everyone.  Her work was gorgeous and she's very reasonable in price.  I got so many compliments on my hair at my wedding.

    For make-up, I used Ellen Sbisa.  She did my trial at Style Squared when I got my hair done so they'll coordinate with you.  Ellen does beautiful work.  One of my bridesmaids originally said she wanted to do her own make-up but when she saw how beautiful everyone else's make-up was, she asked if it would be possible to do her's.  Ellen was great in making sure she had time to squeeze her in.  In addition, my two flower girls (who I just didn't even think of as far as make-up) got jealous and wanted their's done too.  Ellen did a great job of doing something light & beautiful to make them feel special too.  Plus, she didn't charge for them either!

    I just had my trial with Get Polished, and I loved my hair and makeup.  It was exactly what I wanted, and they have been great during the whole planning process.

    I had a great experience with Get Polished in 2009.  I don't know who they have doing hair and makeup now, but Danielle and Lisa were wonderful. The whole bridal party looked great, not too done up, yet perfectly polished. The airbrushed makeup is pure perfection and I have never looked so flawless in my life. See my other reviews, but to sum it up - I LOVED them.  Emily, the owner/coordinator was also very profesional.  I would highly recommend her as a planner. My wedding went off without a hitch and my guests are STILL talking about our memorable wedding a year later.
