How long is your ceremony and reception total?

Hey Ladies,

How long are your weddings and receptions? My is from 6pm-11pm.But I am in the same place for both. I am trying to see if that is too long or too short. I really dont know the average length so I was just asking.

Ceremony starts at 5:30, I have on the timeline that everything will be over at midnight. So that's about right. We are in 2 different locations so inclusive of travel time.

4-9pm. We both have the same amount of time. I think thats the average. Most people will probably leave if it's much longer than that i think.

Ceremony begining at 3 Cocktail hour 4 Reception 5 to 10 If ppl leave at 9 that will be fine with me. More one on one time with the hubs lol

we have the fscility for 15 hours havent decided on times yet anywhere from 9am to midnight

630 to 1130. Same place. May change to 7 to midnight. Traffic may be bad still if we start at 630 on a Friday.

I'm from a large African family, so our weddings tend to go a little long. My wedding started at 3:30p and the reception ended at midnight. 5 minutes travel time between church and reception.
