There's a strong showing of SC gals here, right? (heels? Bec?) Am I off by a few states? Anywho, I've lived away from the East Coast for a few years and thankfully have forgotten the joys of summer humidity. I'm going to South Carolina (Greenville to be exact) next week and am wondering whats weather appropriate to pack. Are jeans wearable? Should I bring a light jacket or sweater for evening? Is it just hot and miserable and I want to bring thin sundresses, a portable fan and multible bags of ice?
Halp?

"Whatever East. You're just mad I RSVP'd "lame" to your pre-wedding sleepover."
Re: South Carolina ladies?
It should be hot and humid, I wouldn't wear jeans. I'd do dresses, shorts and tank tops. Bring a light sweater though just in case, especially with how cold AC tends to be.
Have fun, I miss it already.
Bummer.

[QUOTE]Not one person has said "its going to be in the low 60's and by the way we don't have humidity here anymore." Bummer.

If someone can tell me where that actually happens, I will move there.
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
[QUOTE]Greenville is so awesome! Have fun! <strong>And yeah, stick your face in a sweaty armpit for about 2 minutes if you want a preview of the weather here right now. Ick.</strong>

<div>Awww damnit. Is it too late to not move down there now? This sounds insanely unpleasant. </div>

<div>I just got back from Seattle. It was in the 60s and not at all humid. If you're going to move there can I come? I loved it. </div><div>
</div><div>east, I lived in SC for 10 years before moving to DC. It's going to be hot. No wait, it's going to be HOT. And humid. Like, more water than air in your air kind of humid. Sorry.</div>

Nope, shouldn't be a problem. :)
I told J the other day I was actually impressed - Iowa was starting to feel a little like late spring in NC! I was a little damp on my forehead:)!

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
And, there IS a worse place than the Carolinas for heat/humidity. It's called mid/upper Louisiana. Trust me. 100 degrees, 90% humidity - we had to cancel afternoon camp activities to prevent heat exhaustion and stroke. We stocked a LOT of Pedialyte (the boys liked Gatorade, and would tend to fake it to come into the air conditioned first aid shack and drink the Gatorade).
I'm sure LC would back me up on this - NOLA is bad in the summer too.
