anyone getting married in Basking Ridge Area/Olde Mill Inn?

Hey, I've never posted before but I'm getting married at the Olde Mill Inn and I'm looking for a hair stylist (and any other vendors that are awesome in that area).  Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me...

Thanks!

Kristen

I'm getting married at The Primavera which is about 10 minutes away.  We are using a hotel in the Basking Ridge area but that doesn't really help you since your hall is a hotel.  My hair stylist will be traveling from my home town.  We were told to check out Flowers On the Ridge which is in Basking Ridge.  That's about all I have for you.  Good Luck.

What vendors are you looking for?

We got married in Gladstone -- a little farther out -- and I used Hair Comes the Bride for hair and makeup.  She's based in Scotch Plains.

As far as other vendors go, ditto Danes -- what do you need?  I wouldn't get too caught up in geography as vendors are happy to travel.  You'll have many, many more good options if you look more broadly.  We used a Morristown florist for our wedding, but our photographer, videographer, DJ and string trio all came from NYC.

Hello! This is my 1st post as well. I'm getting married at the OMI in May. I'm getting my makeup done at Atelier (had my trial already - went really well). Really cute salon in Basking Ridge, about 5 minutes away from OMI. I have a friend/stylist doing my hair, but some of my girls will be getting their hair done at Atelier day of, so we'll see how that goes.

I'm getting married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn in May. I'm still looking for a hair stylist to come there or for me to go local. I'll let you know if I find anything! Let me know if you find a good one :)

Thanks so much for the info everyone!  I am mostly looking for hair and make-up people right now.  But I haven't decided on ceremony or cocktail hour musicians so recommendations for that would also be welcome! =)   I will definitely look into the hair/make-up people you guys mentioned though!

So far I have a few recommendations from friends for florists if anyone else is interested:

    Conroy's Flowers in Morris Plains

    Anything Floral in Berkely Heights

I'm just starting to plan and am considering the Olde Mill Inn for our December wedding. How easy have they been to work with? Do they seem pretty flexible, or do they try to get you to stick to the package (we're not planning to have a traditionally structured wedding)?

I have only heard good things about them.  They were really nice and you get a lot of choice about what kind of food you want etc.  They seem to be pretty accomodating but I'm a pretty go-with-the-flow kind of person so I haven't really asked for anything out of the ordinary.
