My Doha Adventures
I am Sooooo sleepy today - I spent yesterday going back and forth on the Turnpike, since I had to drive out to Harrisburg for one freaking meeting. I got home about 10pm.
My Wii arrived yesterday! I was too tired to set it up to play anything, but now I can play on our shiny new TV this weekend
Oh, and if you ladies have spare vibes, I've got my semi-annual performance review this afternoon. I'm supposed to have a bunch of reports cmpiled for discussion, and I've been so busy that I left them all until today to do. So please send along some "speedy report building" and "boss in a good mood" vibes if youve got them
I have to find Chex cereal tonight and make a bunch of Chex mix. Nom nom. I can't believe Giant Eagle was sold out of it when I went there last night. Crazy! It was on sale for 2 boxes for $4 so I guess it makes sense. That's my exciting update. :P
I have a busy weekend with a birthday party for a friend's daughter, a cookie exchange party, Steelers game watching, and anniversary dinner. It is all fun so I'm happy about that!
My parents are staying with us tonight as the funeral is tomorrow, and since df and I aren;t married DF has to sleep on the couch. He usually gets a hotel. but they said it was ok for him to be on the coach since we are ony 29 days out. ridiculous.

Becky - I ended up with just a black skirt and this burnt orange silky top that I forgot I had. I'm such a dork I called my SIL (she lives next door) to come and help me figure something out. I'm so fashion challenged.

Tonight DF and I are going to the Pitt BB game. Tomorrow we have the Duquesne BB game. Sunday, we are having a delayed "thanksgiving" dinner with my family and setting up the Christmas Tree (finally!)

DH is in the dog house. Our laptop at home has been acting up lately. It sounds like there's a problem with the fan or something. So as long as you gently hit it in the right spot, it will stop. Well, apparently DH didn't feel like listening to me and he punched it so hard that not only did he hurt himself, it won't even turn on now. So we either have to get this one repaired or buy a new one. Men and their tempers. UGH.

Tonight DH and I are finally getting around to putting up our tree and decorating our condo. Tomorrow we're watching football at a friends house then hopefully having a date night. Sunday will be church and steelers day.

brivb - my parents were the same way before DH and I were married. I was living with them during grad school to save money, and if DH came to visit he would have to sleep in the guest room

I've been crazy busy all morning, boo, but at least it is Friday afternoon now!
I am so sick of hearing about this gosh-darn snow already, Kim! I mean, it is literally supposed to snow an inch here tomorrow - they even said that they doubt it will stick to the roads since it hasn't been that cold, etc. And my receptionist thinks she should cancel her holiday party with her friends tomorrow night. OMG. The only good thing is that I have to get some tests and blood work done tomorrow and I'm sure the lab will be empty!

When we go home DF's parents live about 15 miles from mine, so he either sleeps in the guest room or at his parents house.

This is the 3rd time my parents have come to visit so we're pretty used to him having to leave. Him staying on the couch is a big step for them. lol.
