mr.owl and i just got the keys to our new apt (yay washer and dryer!) and have spent the last 3 nights painting. tonight, both of us worked late and went straight to the new place after work. we decided that since we didn't want to get our work clothes dirty we'd just paint in our underwear. even though we were exhausted, we couldn't stop laughing. 

did you do anything funny today/this week?

    I'm so jealous you have a freshly painted place!!  We're allowed to paint here but only if its a colour the landlord approves, and it has to be a very light shade so it could be easily painted over again.  So our apartment is just white EVERYWHERE.  Ugh.

    The only funny thing I did today was while I was cleaning I was holding a pen, and used it to scratch the back of my leg.  I totally thought the lid was on, but I guess it wasn't since I later discovered the back of my leg is covered in pen.  The look on BF's face was priceless when he saw it.

    kaitlyn, that's hilarious. i've so done that before with pens!

    we're allowed to paint anything as long as we prime it back to white when we move. we're not painting everything, just accent walls in a few rooms. it's awesome and way fun. i'm itching to get our stuff in there now to see how it all looks.

    ok...time to watch shark week and go to bed. be back in the am.

    Well it made me laugh quite a bit once I looked at my leg.  Although I felt a little stupid for not seeing it right away.

    We still have a bunch of posters from our university rooms so we put up a lot of the nature ones to brighten up the rooms.  They look really nice too, so much better than just white everywhere.

    Painting in undies - I love it!!! What a great memory to have to look back and laugh about together.
     
    I got to hand out with my brother and my mom (both from the DC area) this past weekend. It was so nice just catching up and hanging out. I hardly ever get to see them since moving to CO...so that was a bit of a treat for me!

    hahaha... that's awesome!

    Last night I was supposed to give Lucy her antibiotic and I was watching TV while I did it and just kind of hit my lap and was like, "come her Lucy" and after I shove the pill in the back of her mouth I look down and the dog was black, not tan... I died laughing, good thing I had another antibiotic for Lucy and that it wont hurt Tink! lol
