    <div>Yeah, I tried that Monday and ended up drunky barfing XD</div><div>
    </div><div>But I might have a cocktail. I wonder how cherry vodka would taste with coke. Probably good.</div>
  • I'm going to go drink wine too but not on my porch or even at home.  Have a good night ladies.

    [QUOTE]In Response to Re: Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :) : You resemble Drew Barrymore.  I've always thought she was pretty. Her lisp is cute, too.

    [QUOTE]In Response to Re: Help Me Avoid Schoolwork :) : You could join me on mine, but the drive would suck.  I'd feed you well, and I have a really nice bar, though.

    <div>I bet you would feed me well. I am considering making my Aunts Jambalaya recipe some time soon.</div>
  • I may have a cocktail when I get home. If I do I'll be sound asleep in minutes since I was up most of the night.

    </div><div>I can see a slight resemblace, but I think it's closer to Drew. </div>
  • Have fun Girlie!

    Mmm jambalaya. Now I'm hungry.
  • Poke, I've heard good things about cherry vodka and coke. I hate dark sodas, so I can't vouch for that, though. Vanilla vodka in root beer is exquisite, I kid you not.
  • My Aunt made some for us when we went to NOLA after the wedding. My ILs loved it. Not fond of Gumbo though. Mmmm. Gumbo.

    </div><div>Mmmmmm...  I love a good jambalaya!  And a good gumbo (the secret's in the roux). And a good etouffe...hell, any good creole/cajun meal.</div><div>
    </div><div>It sucks that I can't get proper french bread in Texas.</div>
  • That does sound good Leisel. I think I'm going to make that cocktail now.
  • Ya know, Poke...I'll have to send you a care package once you get over the pond. If I'm not doing jambalala and all from scratch, I use Zatarran's mixes. They're great! I'd be more than happy to send you some boxes of Jambalaya mix once you get settled. Their Red Beans and Rice mix is good too.  You could experiment with some english sausages and the mixes.  Not blood sausage, though. Blech.
  • I think I'm going to have jambalaya next week. I wanted it this week but I only cook two meals a week now since I have so many leftovers and the boy I'm feeding tomorrow said Italian is his favorite so I'm making Italian this week. Well, yesterday I made a rice and black bean skillet thing but my second meal will be Italian. And I'm rambling.
  • No blood sausage. Iiiick.

    But yeah, my aunt gave me a shiiiiit load of spices from new orleans. Including a good roux mix.

    But if you do send a care package - you can expect one from me in return with some yummy English goodies.
  • I'm off for a while - need to get my meds a CVS on my way home and I want some dinner!

    </div><div>Is this the same boy from your high school you mentioned before? How're things going with him?

    </div>
  • Leisel, yes it is. He's just a boy toy really. Fun to flirt with but I'd never date him, I don't think. He doesn't really do dating anyway. I've reconnected with another boy that I went to HS with, we'll call him "A", and we're supposed to get coffee soon to catch up. I'm pretty excited about that one.

  • Catching up, J just got home so I got distracted... Thanks Lizzie! Granted, any photo you've seen of me here likely had all my wedding makeup on, but I will take a compliment! ;)

    For those of you who wear makeup daily, do you always wash it off before bed? That would be my least favorite part. Well actually, taking time in the morning would be my least fave probably.

  • That's exciting, Aryn!
  • I've never really had just a boy toy before. I've always been a serious relationships kinda gal, which isn't better or worse, just is what it is. J had a man whore streak before he met me though, hooooo boy did he ever.

  • Aryn, that dress is really cute. I sent the link to one of FI's nieces who can easily fit the 00.

    </div><div>I totally wash it off. I have an evening facial care routine...wash, eye treatment, facial treatment, body lotion treatment...I'm fighting the valiant fight against ageing.</div><div>
    </div><div>Once a week I do a mini peel (Olay) and a mask.</div><div>
    </div><div>
    </div>
  • H and I have both been relationship type people. We were eachothers first times though.
  • When i wear makeup I try to always wash it off before going to bed. I never use regular soap, as that's too drying. I like Philosophy's Real Purity, Dove or Olay in a pinch, and Lancome's eye makeup remover.

    </div><div>I definitely wash my face before bed. If I don't I wake up and feel gross. I don't ever use eye makeup remover, though. My face wash is gentle enough to just rub over my eyes and get the makeup off. So It really doesn't take any more time than washing my face would normally. </div><div>
