Question about Polen Farm

Has anyone had a barn reception there in July or August? My fiance and I are considering having a wedding there but we're concerned about the lack of air conditioning. Was it noticibly hot or did the fans do the job?

    I went to a wedding there in June. The wedding was around seven so it was cooler at that time.  I think it really depends how you set people up at the reception.  When I was there, there were people inside and outside of the barns.

    i've only been to one in april and obviously it was cool then and it was still a little warm at times in the barn.

    I was in a wedding there in August 2 years ago, and it was surprisingly comfortable inside the barn. It was an evening reception so as the night went on it got cooler. I wouldn't have a middle of the day affair there, but for an evening reception, I think you'll be fine.
