Also looking for a large barn for a wedding - preferably near Park City. Let me know if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks!

Would you considered doing a quasi-destination wedding at a family farmhouse in Central Utah? Fabulous 1890s brick home with a new double story 'barn' which is really a gigantic garage they had built several years ago. (Ask me how I know...I helped take a very old, very dirty barn down so their contractor could reuse the siding in order for it not to look "too new and perfect.") It's on 2 acres of lawn, complete with a 20 tree orchard, mini-vineyard, a pergola and an English Garden.

The owner has a mater's degree in historical preservation and has meticulously reconstructed the grounds and buildings. There are several adorable B&B's close by for family members and several hotels 15 minutes away. The upside is it's just far enough from the Salt Lake Valley to bring those nearest and dearest to you to your wedding and keep those invited because you felt obligated to at home. (Ask me why I'm planning my wedding there.....)

I just saw this Utah wedding on www.stylemepretty.com. She said it was out in Mapleton, UT. Maybe someone can find a contact for her to find exactly where:

If anyone knows of one or a place thats available to contact I would greatly appreciate it!!!

    Thanks! Laughing
