We are planning an in-sutie reception, most likely at the vista suite...I was wondering if the other brides have done or are planning to do decorations? What are you doing? Thanks for the ideas...
I am also doing the vista suite and I am decorating with rose petals, lots of tea lights (soy - they burn much longer), and I am bringing the four aisle floral arrangements that I ordered for our ceremony back to the suite to set out at various spots in the suite.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
We are doing tealights as well, some will be in larger pretty glass vases, and I am renting black tablecloths, and I made a tall silk floral centerpiece for the food table. We will also have framed engagement pics and glass bowls of candy around the room.

I noticed flameless tea lights were mentioned. Do hotels have policies about candles? Also, this may be dumb- but did everyone just set out tea lights, or did y'all have tea light holders? Thanks!
Hey, first-time poster, long-time lurker. I wanted to chime in because I ordered these tealight holders for decorating, figuring they can double as party favors for guests:

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
