other family members in the procession?

So on pintrist, I noticed a pin of the grandmothers in the role of flower girls, and sincey grandmother was always such a big part of my life I love the idea...also I feel as though maybe our mothers and my father in law should be involved, so I like the idea of the mothers being escorted down the aisle first by my future father in law...is this weird?
