Tan?

Did anybody tan for their wedding?  How tan is too tan?  I'm normally a white, white, WHITE chick and have been tanning for my wedding next month.  I don't want to look too out of place (tanning-wise!) since it will still be winter in Chicago.

Re: Tan?

  • I just stayed pale. I satyed outside like normal and did not do anyting different. Just wore more strapless in teh sun so I did not have as bad sun lines.
  • I went tanning twice for 7 minutes each before hand. I have no idea why I bothered. I got no color from it at all and wouldn't go any more than that since I was too scared to get burned and cancer. I usually tan really easily but the beginning of June was too early for anything natural so I was nice and pasty, but I actually think I liked it that way.

[QUOTE]I started going once a week for 7 minutes, the wedding is in 9 weeks, I am mostly going so I won't BURN on the honeymoon.

I am almost as white as a white girl can get, and I stayed that way for our wedding. Since we honeymooned in Switzerland in February, a tan was DEFINITELY not essential.
  • I never knew that the base tan won't help...maybe just to get a glow I should use the Jergens with bronzer in it!  Thanks for the advice!
