Fun Drink Poll!

We are thinking of doing a signature drink that goes along with a Cape Cod wedding theme......cranberries!

The choice is either a cranberry margarita or a cranberry mojito. Which one would you drink if it was offered or you can say none.

    Oooh I would prob want one of each, but would definitely start with the cranberry mojito!

    I am doing cranberry mojitos at my wedding, so obviously i vote that!! I am also getting married on the cape!!

    Thanks all for the suggestions!  I completely forgot about the Cape Codder.....I was focusing more on offering something different.  Looks like the mojito might be the winner.  My fiance and I both love margaritas and mojitos so we wanted to pick one of our favorite drinks and put a Cape Cod spin on it!

    Of the two, I'd pick the mojito. Really though, I'd prefer just a plain old Cape Codder or maybe a cranberry lemonade with vodka (I don't know if this has a name, just sounds good to me).

    Definitely the mojito.  We used them as the signature cocktail at our wedding and they were a huge hit!

    I'd probably pick cranberry mojito, but I'd have such a hard time choosing! I also love a good Cape Codder, but couldn't they order that anyway? I pretty much love cranberry anything so...

    Meaghan - do you make skinny margaritas?  A lot of work squeezing fresh limes but the best margaritas in the world! 

    Cranberry mojitos it is :-)  Yes, guests can still order a cape codder too!

    of the two mentioned above, I'd go with the Cap Codder.  I'd think it is the more classic and safe approach; but I'm speaking from a group of people who don't like mojitos, so yeah.

    Here is the recipe:

    • 2 oz of Clear Premium Tequila (count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)

    • Tiny splash of Orange Liquor

    • Juice of 4 Fresh Lime Wedges

    We are getting married and having the reception at Ocean Edge Resort on 5/29/10 (Memorial Day Weekend!).  Cannot wait.....25 more days!

    i guess i'm in the minority here, but i'd def vote for the margarita.  i think they just seem more beachy/summery to me.  but i don't think you can go wrong with either!  :)

    Sounds delicious!! I just picked me up some Sam Summers.... but maybe this weekend? ;)

    Btw- I LOVE Ocean Edge. If we weren't so set on getting married on MV we were definitely going to go there or CBI. I vacationed there a ton and worked at the camp next door for years. Your wedding is going to be gorgeous!!
