Ahhhh Im so excited about wedding planning but stuck at work lol
what have you guys accomplished so far? What are your colors?
We just decided on the color watermelon for an outdoor garden wedding!

my wedding is june 11,2011 in las vegas nm at the plaza hotel!! we are doing a black and white wedding damask!!!
food is traditional new mexican, we are doing mexican wedding cookie as our favors, and we are only doing flowers for our bridal party and candles galore everywhere else to create "the mood" on weddingbee.com i bought 200 candles for 15 dollars!!!! yay !!! i am so addicted to that site!!!

Hi there! So far I have the reception and ceremony they are both at Hard Rock as well. My colors are red,black, and ivory. I have half of the table centerpieces, the other half i have to wait till october because i'm actually gonna get tree branches, string jewls and hang them on the branches and put them in big vases. I also have my dress, my hairstylist and makeup, i dont have a florist yet but i know what kind of flowers i want for my bouquet, and i think i just found my invitations! there is this great shop on Eubank and Montgomery its called Gatherings, i would recommend if you are looking for invitations.

Hello! i have a question who are you dealing with at hard rock? I'm dealing with erline. and have they told you when they are going to do the food and cake selecting and tasting?

I am dealing ith Erline too! She is awesome! Umm, they had a tasting on the 16th but she hasn't set anything in stine yet for next month. You have to have a contract first before you can go to the tasting so that something to think about. But she will be letting people know soon when its going to be. One word of advice about her though make sure you keep on her about question or concerns you have sometimes she doesn't get back to right away but if you call and remind her she will remember.

Yes you are right about her forgetting about stuff. I do have a contract with them i signed it back in april. the reason i ask about the tasting is because Erline told me that they dont do the tastings until a month before the wedding! to me that is too close to the date but thats just me. I like knowing way ahead of time what me and my guests are going to eat. What room is your ceremony going to be in?

She told me something completely different, she said that you can go to any of the tastings that they offer you just have to let her know a head of time because they tend to get over booked. I am in Ballroom A. Which room are you in? I am actually having my ceremony there too.

my ceremony is going to be in the round seminar room, I loved it when they showed it to me. and we decided that we are going to stand in the middle. and then the reception is in ball room C. are you going to do a seating chart? im not sure yet if i want to do one or if its just going to be extra work.

I am probably not going to do a seating chart only because we have so much family on both my side and my fiance' s and its just too much work. But who knows i might change my mind becaue i thought it would be cool to name the tables by places we want to visit as a married couple. The wedding parties table would be named by the place we are going on our honeymoon. Just something that is cute. My table decor will be wine glasses upside down-with the see-through stones of purple, with a flower on top. Which will be something for the married couples only, to take home. Then have a tall cylinder vase with a calli-lillie emergered in water, with a floating candle. I think it will be pretty. What are some of the things you are doing?

Those sound like cute ideas for the tables! I'm just going to have a sweet heart table for me and my hubby! I didnt like when i was in my cousins wedding that i had to eat with them and not my hunny, so i decided that the wedding party can sit where they want. I'm not sure how i'm going to decorate the sweet heart table yet, i was just thinking maybe lots of red rose petals and lots of votive candles, but i'm open to ideas so if you have any?? For all my other tables im borrowing vases from the casino, they are the big 2ft. tall ones and i am going to get tree branches and spray paint them either black or red, not sure yet, then im going to hang crystals and rose petals from them. I am also going to have about 4 or 5 votives on all the tables.
