Kendall, I just looked at your bio and it is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I am in love with your flowers--IN LOVE.

April 28, 2012? *sigh* I may never get off this board.

Stephie - Thank you! :D I had so much fun playing with it. Plus, I expect each and every one of you to stick around. I think I may be the only person over the year mark :(

We are on the third day of prom ticket sales and we have sold more in these days than we did in the first two weeks of prom ticket sales last year! However, we've had more drama in the first two days than ever before. It's extremely annoying.

On the subject of prom - We went to Stonebriar yesterday for dinner and D&B with the guys I live with. We walked through JCPenney to go in and WTF? Are high school girls all hookers now? I've seen bathing suits and lingerie with more fabric than some of these prom dresses! When did prom dresses become about being skanky looking and not elegant?

Note: After re-reading this, I feel so old :P

Stephie maybe we can transition Kendall over to TN when we all go ;)

I am having the WORST cramps I've had in about 6 months. IDK what the deal is, but I am utterly miserable today. *insert huge sad face*

Wow, I woke up all excited that my wedding is a month from today's date, but some of you are SO much closer than that!

I hope that from today on, I can (mentally) exit planning mode and enter excited-I'm-getting-married-mode.

As for you gals doing the Heartland song ... my parents actually just called me yesterday to say he'd picked that as our first dance song. (He is apparently taking ballroom dance lessons with my mom back in my hometown ... he is taking this very seriously). I've never heard the song before, so I just said "OK" and hoped it was a good choice. I'm glad you ladies like it too!

Add me to the old lady camp. I see teenagers today and I'm like - really? Why would you think that is cute?

Also, all this father-daughter dance stuff makes me kind of sad. I didn't do a father-daughter dance for our wedding and I kind of regret it. I didn't not do it on purpose. My dad was never there when I was growing up - so picking a song turned out to be a pain and I kind of just scrapped the idea. But, I didn't dance with my dad at all that night. I feel really bad about it. (Our relationship is much better now that I'm an adult than it was when I was a kid). :(

Kendall- I know what you mean about the prom dresses! My goodness I would have never had the guts to wear that much less would I have wanted to! So, for the enjoyment of everyone here, I found my senior prom picture. I just want to clarify that that is not FI in the picture. My date insisted on wearing a zoot suit and his hat like this all night. He thought it looked cool.

ugh, I'm so down/depresed it isn't even funny. Which is GREAT for my wedding diet!
I have so many questions that won't be answered until I find a job.

I waited around all day yesterday for my parent's new oven and microwave. I had to sit and talk to the install man for four hours yesterday. He was talking about his daughter's wedding. In the middle of showing me pictures he accidentally showed me a picture of him in the bathtub with a cowboy hat and cowboy boots.Awkward.

Aw. I admit, I wasn't wanting a sappy song for the F/D dance, but I do love that song. I was nervous because nobody in my family is very affectionate or emotional, so a lot of the songs didn't seem right for us. But this one is just the right balance, I think.

Shortgirltx -- I know, how cute is that? Both my mom and my dad are getting very into this "hosting a wedding" business. My mom wants to find just the right outfit, and I've never seen my dad dance ever so ... this should be interesting. They've also asked me a million questions about how things are done here in Texas, as if it's a foreign country (they live in the midwest).

When I can see the inside cleavage and the outside bulge of the girls, the dress doesn't have enough material. If I can see the underside of the girls, there's not enough material. If I can see your butt crack, there's not enough material.

Do a search for ghetto prom. It's very entertaining. Be sure to search "helicopter hair do" and "ghettoes" as well.

Sarah, are you sure it'll hurt FI's feelings or are you just assuming that? I would sit down and talk to him about it. I'm sure he'll understand if you really don't want to change it. Just reassure him it doesn't mean anything about your feelings towards him, or your marriage.

Sarah - I changed my middle to my maiden name, legally. It is very convenient for identification purposes on straggling things that still have my maiden name on them...despite my best efforts.

Plus, just because my middle name is legally gone doesn't mean it's not my middle name anymore. I never signed it anyway so it was no big deal.
