I was wondering if anyone by any chance knows how to make place card holders? I really want to make DC themed place card holders as favors for my wedding.
I guess it depends on what kind you want. We made our place card holders out of wine corks, and it was super-easy. Do you have anything in mind for the "DC theme"???
You could always just do tented place cards and skip the holders -- then you can put whatever design or decoration you want on the paper instead of using a holder. You could print cherry blossoms on the placecards, or a silhouette of the capitol building, or whatever you want for your DC theme.
Thats actually a good idea. I was thinking the Washington Monument, Capital, White House, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. How would I print a silhouettte of different monuments?

You would trace images of the monuments on black cardstock...or google image "Washington Monument silhouette"...etc.
