Surprise!

I came home from work to find 3 huge boxes sitting outside my front door. Two are from Crate & Barrel and one is from BBB. So, now I'm waiting....and waiting...and waiting for JP to get home. I'm dying here, girls. I want to open them SO bad.

I didn't get any RSVPs today and instead a returned invitation. There was a note written on it, please return to sender. Really, people? You decide to write that and send it back 2 weeks after you receive the card. Thanks.

I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

    We opened them!

    From our C&B registry we got a bunch of the dishware we asked for. We got the large plates from our set, as well as the small saucer plates (8 of each), 4 coffee mugs, the little sauce dish thing (don't know the name, but it's perfect for like side condiments like salsa, sour cream, and guac) that matches the set, and the newlywed cookbook. Then we got this super awesome griddle from BBB. JP wanted the George Forman, we've had a couple of those. I wanted the bigger, better, and so much nicer griddle. I'm glad we chose that one instead.

    Yay, I love getting presents! :)

    I know, right?! Some people..I seriously wonder what goes through their heads sometimes.

    Ironically, my MOH just asked me about this same person (JP's cousin and her family) because the bridal shower invite had come back a few days ago. I was like..mhhmm, that's strange, the wedding invite didn't some back. Sure enough, it came back today. I actually just contacted her yesterday and she said she hadn't received it, so I made a new one and sent it today, although it's in my ugly handwriting, not the pretty printed font.
