Yes! With the knife he hides in his big creepy shoe.
  • I was mean to a girl who, after she kept posting and after I read some of the stuff linked in her bio, was clearly mentally unstable.  I felt bad after that because, while she did come across as ridiculous in her initial posts, once I knew more I felt like I was unfair to her and I regretted being mean to someone who clearly had serious problems.
  • Did you ever see "It"? I watched it when I was a kid, and always expected balloons to be filled with blood after that. *shudder*

Yes! That movie scared the living fuuck out of me. We have a big sewer drain at the end of our road and every time we go for a walk, we stand over it and make sure it's free of clowns.

Did you ever see Killer Clowns from Outerspace?
  • I told someone...to grow up.  That's all I got.  Weak. Sauce.
  • Yes! It's in my dvd collection. Luckily, it didn't ruin cotton candy for me.
But there was no fucking way I was going near the circus as a child, or now.

  • Oh Jasmine, did you HAVE to go there, to Pennywise?? For shame.

I think the worst I've ever done was either snort at someone's post, go off on the grammar or horrendous spelling, or do a FFS at something. The times I've done FFF I've done it when I was really pissed about something - not just something that made me roll my eyes.

Most times, though, I keep my "fingers still," because when I'm angry, I just cuss and turn to the PeeWee type of argument - I know you are but what am I? I don't make monkeys, I just train 'em! Or - oh yeah, well, you're just stupid (like Tommy Boy). I can't be glib and angry together.

If FutureMrsTP keeps resurfacing (Which, if you didn't know, she posted on CC today), I don't know if I'll be able to keep my mouth shut.

I forget who insulted her kid's name, but I want to High-Five that chick.

ETA: Just read through the "think before you insult" post and see the MrsTP is back here, too. Please disregard my pointing out her return. Carry on!

  • I said to KK that she didn't really know what it was like to live in a city cause she lives in Maine. I said it really snippy too like, "I live in Boston, you know, a real city?" and came off rather snobbish. A bunch of people got on my back for it, Mag0607 or something really laid it on me good. I STILL feel really bad about it.

So, I just decided that we should be best friends. You in?
  • I'm in, as long as you don't invite the robot in your avatar.

  • I'm never mean, nothing but puppies and rainbows here ;)

It and Pet Cemetery scarred me for life.
  • No worries. He's chained up in the basement. I only bring him out for parties and asskicking contests.

  • Okay then. The only thing more soulless than a robot is a clown.

  • There is a pet cemetary on the way to my grandma's farm. I always thought that it was *the* pet cemetary.

  • Ugh...thanks to that movie I don't sit down on the edge of the bed, and if I hear a clock start to chime at midnight I always cover my ears. I'm a big baby.

I generally keep my mean comments to myself. Generally. It's only when things really irk me that I speak up.

  • I don't remember anything too bad on the national boards but I commented on a thread in the Lansing board in which the OP wanted to have her "beach" ceremony 2-3 hours away from the reception site.  Nothing I said was that mean (and I carefully censored myself as I was on a Local board) and she went CRAZY.

She then came (I think!) to SB to complain about bitchy brides.  Then everyone here on SB laid into her as well.
  • Cew, I've seen Killer Clowns - loved it, but the clowns were scurry-looking.  During the OJ Simpson trial, all I could think of was that Kato Kaelin's friend, Grant Kramer, was in that movie, and that I knew who he was. It was kind of like knowing the little girl in Halloween is actually Paris Hilton's aunt. Useless trivia.

Pet Semetary ruined little boys in velvet suits for me. Well, I never liked that anyway, but holy hell - that one scene with Judd in his slippers makes my leg HURT.

Speaking of that, I saw The Blind Side Sunday night. I had never, ever seen the Joe Theisman footage before. Holy bent wrong way leg, Batman. And I personally liked the movie, especially knowing it was a true story.

  • I called Be-you-tiful a crazy bitch in response to her PM to me telling me my husband was ugly, even though I'm pretty sure she wasn't able to read it since she was already banned. Otherwise, I've mostly just flamed people who are being stupid. Sometimes I've felt bad about how far things went (like if my flames lead to someone getting it worse from everyone else), but I never call people names like idiot, moron, or stupid. I will say someone is acting stupid or did something idiotic, but I think that's okay because behaviors can be changed. Personalities, not so much.

I was at some sleep over when I was 8 or 9 and we watched that.  I was terrified of clowns before the movie and even more so afterwards.  Not to mention I wouldn't do anything alone for like 4 weeks after that. Awful awful movie.
