I am leaving this forum. People here are judgemental and rude and extremely obnoxious to me. I have found one out of 50 people here that have been even slightly happy for me. I am happy, so please don't act better than me. I wish you all the best in your marriages because if you are so quick to judge other people, don't expect to be such a better person or wife than I will be.
To those of you who are reading this and are genuinely nice to EVERYONE who has done nothing wrong, I wish I could have gotten to know you.
I will still use this site, and for those of you who would live to prove me wrong about this, please private message me and I would love to get to know you.

I do sincerely wish you good luck in your marriage, but I also hope you take peoples advice to heart. Nobody here is hoping you fail, just that you change your mind about getting married right away.
That being said, I feel like every post you make just proves how immature you are.

Websites/blogs where our wedding has been featured:

FWIW No one wished you unhappiness or a bad marriage. We just have more life experience than you and urged you to get some as well before getting married. Not one person said you should be together and love each other. We said you shouldn't get married.

In spite of the creative use of GIFs by others, cove, I think this is my favorite post of the thread.
[QUOTE]Not going to lie, it makes me sad when I take the time to type out a long response that is not nasty and includes some hopefully useful advice and then the OP gets all huffy and leaves. I want those 10 minutes of my life back. OP - I would encourage you to go back and reread the responses a few years from now when you've finished going through puberty and your emotions aren't this high-rolling. Use the critical thinking skills that high school should have taught you, carefully read through the responses and see what we actually said vs. what you and your emotions think we said. You'll find that they weren't as insulting as you think they were.

But OP didn't go to high school. She was home schooled which explains a lot.
I got married at 32 and I have no regrets. I know that I am very different and have different aspirations/needs/priorities than my 17-year-old self. I would not have wanted to be married at 17 because I had so much of the world to see and explore, and I wanted to date different types of people to see what was best for me. I am so glad I took the time to do that. But I am not going to tell you what to do, just my two cents. Best of luck in the future.
1. Not told everyone that you are seventeen. If you had started posting about wedding planning or guest lists or house hunting or anything else besides your age, I can guarantee this would not have blown up in your face like this.
2. Not asked everyone to be "honest" with you about whether or not we think you're too young to be married.
You got exactly what you asked for. Now what was your problem again?
[QUOTE]I find it humorous when someone announces they are leaving. I used to do that when I was mad and young and I wanted more attention.

I always see it like "I'm running away from home, and you can't stop me! I mean it! I'm really going! There's absolutely nothing you can do about it! I'm really going now! I packed up my knapsack and everything! Really, you can't stop me! You're going to miss me when I'm gone, I mean it! I'm really, really, really going now, and you can't stop me! ... okay, seriously, I need to know that you're going to miss me if I actually leave, what can I do to make you love me already?!?!?!?!?!"
