Caribbean AI, Comparable to the Excellence Chain

My fiance & I visited the Excellence Playa Mujeres last year & we fell in love with this hotel chain & its all-inclusive program. It's simply amazing & exactly what we're looking for for our honeymoon this April (which we still have yet to book by the way, yikes!). We don't want to visit the same place for our honeymoon so we're looking for something very similar in the Caribbean. Any ideas? Someone suggested we checkout Dreams in Jamaica, which was set to open yesterday. I'm just a little worried about booking a honeymoon at a brand new resort that hasn't hardly been open. Any advice on Dreams or another AI in the Caribbean?

    There's an Excellence in the DR, but how about Zoetry Agua in the DR?  It looks amazing- we are going in 4 weeks!

    The things I love about this place and the reasons why we booked:
    * special pricing right now
    * 53 rooms
    * All-Inclusive which includes a LOT - horseback rides on the beach, massages, private transfers, food/alcohol, laundry service, international phone calls, a bottle of champagne brought to your room each day, Bulgari bath products

    We are so excited.  It sounds like it might be what you're looking for as well!

  • My FI and I are looking at Zoetry Agua for our honeymoon too, but we're also torn between the Excellence Club Playa Mujeres!  Ahh, didn't realize how hard of a decision this would be!  We'd like to make a final decision by the end of the week - our wedding is in May, so we're way behind schedule.  What type of room did you book at Zoetry?  Again - we're torn between the garden view with plunge pool or the beach front with plunge pool --- ultimate privacy v. no privacy, but with a view! what to do!?! :-)  I also like the fact that Zoetry Agua is a newer hotel, and part of the Dreams, Secrets chain - or so I've heard.
