Photo booth issue

i just received a call from the company I booked to do a photobooth at the wedding that their printer broke and since they are only honoring currently planned events and not scheduling any more events (basically going out of business) they will not be fixing their printer. So they can provide me a disc with the pictures the next day and she offered to persoanlly deliver it to my hotel in the morning and I could print them from that - but then I have to print them and it kinda defeats the point of it. I also got this through a special that a friend of mine was offered so if I cancel it and get refunded I won't have enough to get a new company and we are already over budget. Would you guys cancel and not have a booth t all - cancel and try to find the next cheapest and just pay for it or keep it and just send copies of the pics in the thankyous or something? Thanks!

    I would say keep it and mail print offs in your thank yous...that is a great way to personalize the thank yous, as long as you don't mind doing the work!

    eh i would just cancel the whole thing.  If you dont mind spening all the money to print them up go ahead but i think its not worth it.  AlLSO I know of a few knotties who made their own DIY photobooth for under $100!  I would look into somehting like that.  If i find the post ill send it to you though

    That's tough.  I would say that if they will reduce the price so you can pay to print them, kind of covering the cost of printing, then it could be nice to send in the thank you notes.  But, I think the fun in the photobooth is that you get the pictures right away, so I think I would cancel it.

    I'm using them too!!!! My wedding is in April in Miami.

     UGH. I was really disappointed when I found out. I also can't afford to book another company either bc I'm also over budget. 

    I'm probably going to still keep them and upload the images to a website for all the guests to look at and if they want to print they can, or send them with Thank-yous.

    If there happens to be a groupon or some deal in the next month I'll probably buy it and cancel with them. Frustrating!!!!!!

    Thanks ladies! We ended up canceling - I'm going to look into making my own like ppl suggested - great idea! Sorry kencado that you're dealing with the same thing - although the woman was really nice about my refund and said shed put it in the mail today. it's funny, she said every other bride was really ok with it and still happy! I knew that had to be a false statement.
