Yup! Over the past few years, I have more or less become a long-haul truck driver. It doesn't bother me all that much anymore.

I recommend Quicken. It puts the whole ugly truth right out there. It's amazing how much those "little" things like lattes, ,etc add up when you are forced to keep track of them. Makes it real easy to see what is so not necessary.

Every time I think we're starting to get somewhere, H basically doesn't get a paycheck for a month, and we're back to square one. I've been trying really hard to not spend money on anything not essential. We've been barraged with baby showers, wedding showers and wedding for the past few months. I wish I would magically come into some money :)
I'm here, with a fresh glass of wine. I actually started with a Cosmo because I had a mix from my friend's bridal shower.
H uses Quicken and has us on a budget. I'm not used to it. I've already been told though that I will be getting a tutorial on it soon since I need to keep it up once he's gone.
I either shut off my alarm this morning, or it never went off. Either way I didn't get to work until 7:30. Oops. That's an hour late! I'm more pissed that that is an hour of pay off my paycheck. Bummer.
I've actually used it before, but I'm not good at keeping up with it. We definitely have cut back on all the coffee buying and stuff. That was almost $10 a day between the 2 of us.
I can't wait for Glee to start! I actually made a new friend across the street from me whose husband is already deployed so I invited her over for wine and Glee.
Yeah I'm excited, especially since she is right across the street.
Ooh we decided for sure that we are going to visit friends in Portland this weekend. I'm so excited to go to Voodoo Donuts! I've seen it so mnay times on the Food Network.

Well, I overslept, which I NEVER do, so I wasn't happy about that. But I did appreciate the extra hour of sleep. My mortgage company decided to cancel my autopay for some reason, so I've been trying to sort that out. I thought I was on call at work today, and I wasn't, so that was nice. But the weather was gorgeous, so that makes me happy

Re: Wino check-in
Updating the budget, but I only have 11 minutes until noon, so drinking may be on the agenda for today
Our Story MAJORLY UPDATED 8/6/09
Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
