I just got done with FI's Christmas present and wrapped it. It'd now under our tree with my SS gift I got in the mail.

I also stopped by Kay's to get my ring cleaned for free and it is SO sparkly again! I love it!!!

Now I'm off to make 8 punds of my grandmother's recipe of fudge. Whoo...

How's everyone else coming along with Christmas stuff?

Woohoo exciting!!I'm babysitting tonight but I wish I was home to accomplish some Christmas things! I bought FI an 'escape' from living social... So its kind of a gift for me too

just have to do some little last minute things like wrapping and picking up some gift cards and wine and we'll be all done! Are we waiting to open our SS gifts at the same time? You have some serious discipline! Haha I would have ripped it open as soon as I saw it

I've been done shopping for a long time. I'm one of those overly organized (ahem.. anal...ahem..control freak..lol) kind of people. Plus, I just can't deal with stores at this time of year.

Im getting there...almost done. Usually, I am super prepared but this year with the wedding planning and what not, I kinda slacked. This week I have finals so Im just trying to get through the school work so I can concentrate on enjoying the holidays!

I need to develop a few pictures for grandparents and pick my my dad's giftcard. This yr was very easy since FI and I are choosing not to get each other presents. We tried the whole stick to a budget thing the last few years but each yr we manage to drop atleast $1k combined on presents so we decided not even attempting to buy presents would be the way to go. We managed to buy most of our presents which is a huge deal. We normally are those last minute shoppers looking for gifts at 11:59pm on Christmas Eve. Yay for getting things done in a timely fashion this year!

Ahh I wish I was as prepared as everyone else! I tend to do the whole last minute thing... I usually buy a few odds and ends that are on sale a few weeks before Christmas. I will most likely finish up my parents this weekend (hopefully) along with FIs parents and nephews. FI and I wont be celebrating "our" Christmas until the 26th so I will most likely shop for him the 24th in the wonderful tax free state my parents live in

I haven't bought one single thing yet. Thats our definite goal for this weekend, especially because we're leaving for St. Louis on Thursday -- eek! This is not surprising though. I always wait until the last minute. I mean I think about it in advance, but apparently I prefer to wait until the shelves are empty and there are throngs of people everywhere.

Thankfully we don't have too many people to buy for, and some of them are super easy such as buying my brothers some booze.

FI and I always exchange gifts but haven't talked about it recently. I have no idea what he wants -- maybe I'll ask him if he wants to run away to Eureka Springs and stay at a B&B after the holiday craziness ends and the January doldrums set in. That could be a joint gift because, right now, a little alone time sounds great!

SOOOOO i def spoiled my christmas present!!!

My FI and I bought tickets to The Black Keys concert in March. We decided that since we are trying to save money for the wedding and such, that that would be our gifts for each other. Well...... my FI was asleep the other night and i unplugged his phone from the charger so i could plug in mine and his screen popped up with a mesage from my sister. She had been texting me all day asking me which Uggs i wanted (i thought my mom was buying for me) but it turns out she was asking for HIM!!!!!!!! and now i know...

he NEVER can keep surprises so im kinda bummed i dropped the ball lol ...............

I haven't bought anything yet at all. Our finances are all tied up. So FI, has purchased his sons gifts. But that's where it ends.

I think we're going to do the cop out thing this year and get people gift cards we know they will use.

I am all done with FI's gift and I think he's done with mine, but we still need to do shopping for the adults in his family and my dad's side. I'll admit I'm being a little lax on Dad's side because a) I don't know when we'll see them, definitely it will be after Christmas and b) I'm not close to my dad and he doesn't like FI. So he is low on my priorities list right now
I am looking forward to making Christmas cookies this weekend
