I'm here! FI is making tacos and I'm watching Olympics.

Random thought? I noticed today that my back license plate was gone. Just...off my car. WTF! I have NO idea what happened to it, but my guess is that it fell off on the drive up to see FI. Good thing that I have front and rear plates, otherwise I'd have to make the trip home with none!

We just got home from dinner at my aunts house - she made this big dinner for my husband for his birthday and I complained that I never got a birthday dinner so I got it tonight - HUGE steaks, gigantic shrimp, mushrooms, dipping sauce, ooooh man. Im stuffed.

Jill - I spent close to that just after christmas, it was a bit shocking but I loved everything I bought so who cares!!

My confession is I was secretly flattered when the two twenty year olds checked in, they called me cool for not caring how late they swim.

Mainly, I just don't feel like fighting them to get out of the pool, but it apparently makes me the cool one.

I'm also watching basketball...big game for the Vols tonight.

I still need to shop for our V-day dinner too. I had it all planned out: rack of lamb with bacon and chard sautee, and chocolate lava cake for dessert. Stupid store had no lamb and no chard.

Oh hows this for a confession. I dropped out of a friends wedding two weeks ago, I emailed her to explain why (cited financial reasons) and she replied back that she needed time to absorb it before she responds. I havnt heard from her since, and judging by her facebook statuses she isnt exactly upset over it. Two weeks have gone by and part of me wants to rip her a new one and tell her she sucks and all sorts of other things I think, but i know thats immature so I havnt. I still think its totally freaking lame to just brush me off like that, considering part of the reason I dropped out was being continuously brushed off.

Sitting here watching the FI trying t hook up the entertainment center, t.v.'s off and on every 5 minutes. It's kinda aggravating,but I have to be nice,he bought me roses, chocolate covered strawberries,and cheesecake.
Gonna watch Zombieland when he's done, quite the V-day movie.

I've been ignoring my coworkers calls and texts for the last 4 hours. She's got a cold and wants me to come finish her shift for her so she can go home. Normally, I'd do it to be nice. But she's been there as long as I have in has called in or out sick at least once every.single.schedule. We do 2 week schedules, and it's getting just really annoying. She's called me 3 times and texted 5 times. Buck up already and be a big girl, tough it out, she seemed fine last night when I worked with her.

I should figure out something for dinner tomorrow.

Ricks - we pretty much arent from all I can tell, we never talk on the phone, she never comes online to chat and takes a billion years to reply to emails even when we are on good terms. I havnt seen her since my wedding in 2008 either.

I have a friend who I haven't seen since my wedding in 08 too. I texted and called her several times and finally just gave up.
