    Interesting.  I wonder if the food quality is any better at McDonald's restaurants in Hong Kong than here.

    McDonald's, in general, tastes better in Korea (for what it's worth), Singapore, and the Philippines in my experiences. For that matter, KFC tastes so much better in Asia than here too so...

    but in the end, it's still fast food. XD

    although i've never had mcdonalds in hongkong, mcdonalds in shanghai is very delicious. they use different spices, and i'm pretty sure a different oil to fry the frenchfries in. also, mcdonalds in taiwan offers soup with your value meals...you can substitute fries if you want...but fries aren't standard.

    but no champagne? that's too bad....


    and FWIW, KFC is the best ever in shanghai.

    mcdonalds in Thailand cooks your food to order.  you can't specify done-ness but at least you know it's fresh....
