Bridesmaids dresses under $150, do they exist?

I'm looking through a bunch of websites trying to find designers that carry a few options for long chiffon purple dresses with different necklines. Bari Jay has a lot that I like but they seem to all be atleast $170, same with all other "bridesmaid" dress designers I've looked at. I might give the Target dresses a try, but they don't have much variety and my want my girls to be in the same style of dress but with different necklines (or atleast give them that option). Has anyone found a bridesmaid dress under $150, I'd love to know where to look!

  • Ours were $139 at DB

  • I got my bridesmaid dresses from www.ebridalsuperstore.com. They were long, black taffeta dresses by Impressions and were 157.50 but when I was shopping, I saw many that were around the $100 mark and even a few more affordable than that.  I was very satisfied with the quality of the dresses, the sizes were true to the measurements, and very importantly they are in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.  Good Luck!
  • If you're in love with a particular designer, it couldn't hurt to do some research and see if any of their upcoming trunk shows are closeby. My girls saved 10% off of their dresses with a Watters trunk show!
  • My MOH paid about $120 for hers at DB. There are deals out there. If you find something you really like you can always look at Pearls Place, once you find a designer they all want.

  • Have you tried looking at department stores?

  • I got my BM's dress from Belsoie for $145. Not much under your price range but lower than $150.

  • I found one I love for my girls that is $99 at Davids Bridal.  (link)  They actually have a whole bunch of dresses under $100 (link), it just depends on what style you're looking for.

  • Alfred Angelo or Jordans. Have you purchased your gown yet? Usually your girls will get a discount from where you purchased yours. The boutique where I got my gown carries a ton of designers and will give my BM's 10% off and free alterations or 20% off with no alterations.
  • my cousin bought hers at 7foxmall.com. as she finds it difffult to buy the same style of dress with diffferent sleeve/neckline. so she give the website a try. she is very happy about the dresses and they  fit into her budget too.
  • I had my bridesmaids wear multi-way or convertible dresses.  They were under $50 at Akira.com but they are no longer available.  Tart carries multi-way dresses too.  Sometimes you can get Tart dresses on sale at ideeli.com or gilt.com

They definitely can wear it again after your wedding.
    Good luck!
