I'm here but not for long. This dog is driving me insane! If I have to tell him to get down, stop it, hush or anything else I'm going to scream.Plus, he just decided to make me take him out 5 times in less then 30 minutes for no reason! Ugh! My husband owes me big time, again!

I'm here. Just came back from my first prenatal class. What a bloody waste of time...

And to add insult to injury, my company planned a huge outing today that I had to skip because of this class. They were letting us off work an hour early to attend a private screening of The Avengers, and then treating everyone in the company to a fancy pants dinner at this gourmet restaurant.

I sat through a class where someone didn't understand what the umbilical cord does, and learned about what fish I shouldn't eat. Wtf.

It does suck! But, then again, I got out of work an hour early and got to come home and veg by myself for awhile, which was nice. Just me and Toby, since Eli's still in the hospital, but it was nice and peaceful just the same. Plus, I'm off until Tuesday, so I can't complain.

Evening! Today H and I went furniture shopping and bought a king size bed. I'm so excited to get our first piece of nice, non-hand-me-down furniture. I can't wait to replace all of our cheap furniture with good quality pieces that will last a lot longer than this crap we have now.

I cooked shrimp stir fry tonight with eggrolls and it was blah so I filled up on brownies and made us some strawberry and banana smoothies. Definitely not the healthiest diet in the world, but it'll have to do tonight.

Yep, long weekend for us. And I'm on summer hours at work, so I get alternate Fridays off between Victoria Day weekend (this weekend) and Labour Day.

Eli is having a rough go. The little jerk pulled off his cone of shame yesterday and pulled out his catheter. They thought he might be okay, but he re-blocked today so they had to sedate him and re-catheterize. He'll be in the hospital until Tuesday now, and there's still the potential for surgery if the catheter doesn't help enough. Ugh.

SEWF- This morning was the last straw for me with the queen. H is such a bed hog and it use to just be annoying, but now I've got a great pyrenees pup and lab pup that dominate that thing. I didn't get to bed until almost 2 and woke up at 4 to come sleep on the couch. I knew we needed a king and today was the day.

Thanks, kd. I'm trying to be positive about it. I went to see him yesterday, and he was miffed about the accommodations and the food, but he did consent to a snuggle and some kisses. I'll have some major sucking up to do when he gets home.

Well it'll be 3 weeks until ours arrives, but I'm almost positive I'll be recommending a king to you. They have kings on the cruises that we take and it's amazing to sprawl out for what seems like miles.
