Hello! I just transferred money from our paychecks into our wedding savings account today and we are $6 away from paying off the wedding and honeymoon!!! All of it! The best part is we are on track to save $2050 more before the wedding is here, which will roll straight over to a baby savings account!! Woohoo! So excited! It took a year, but we finally did it! THIS feels good

Happy Friday ladies!

[QUOTE]Ich - exactly! I should say that we have enough to pay it off, not that it is paid off. We have the money in the bank, but we have to make final payments in the next coming weeks after we get our headcounts, create our must have photo lists etc. No more stress of saving, but there is the stress of making the payments! :)

I hear ya...I was soooo stressed out about this whole thing until I saw five digits in our joint "wedding/house fund" checking account lol. Hopefully we can get our taxes done on the 15th and get the refunds back before the wedding :-) FL doesn't have a state tax so we just have to wait on the feds.
We're hoping to have everything paid off by the wedding. Everything has been paid in cash - no credit cards. (Well, we put it all on a cc to get the points, then paid it in full every month.) I'm REALLY sweating the final numbers, though. We're going to cut it VERY close in terms of the budget. I LOVE being a SAHM, but there are definite drawbacks, and this is one of them!
lch, if it helps, FI got his taxes done on Wed and with direct deposit, his federal refund should be in his bank account a week from today. *Fingers crossed*
